Unpleasant bus journey

Svc 190 TIB 553D (Opp Ngee Ann City to Stevens Road).
I boarded this bus at 2200 on 9/6/10 and got the worst SMRT bus ride of my life. The bus driver was driving like a mad man and he almost beat the red light at the Wheelock Place junction (Luckily light turned green or else he would not have stop in time). Furthermore, he drove at a fast speed while negotiating the bend at Stevens Road despite the fact that the bus was fully packed and I was standing at the stairs . When I was alighting, my feet gt trapped by the door but the bus driver did nothing. Fucking dulan!!! Summore got Australian tourist on board who told me that the bus driver was crazy and said that such things never happen in Australia. This incident is really a fucking digrace to SMRT and to the Spore public transport system.
I really hope this AssM Mati can consider deploying more buses to serve the Svc 190 route as many ppl are going home to Bt Panjang or Choa Chu Kang from the city during this time and the buses are usually packed to the brim many times I wanted to board thebus during this time.. Maybe they can introduce Svc 190A which commences its journey from Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

Haiz SL drive fast also complain.. i know he drive at a high and dangerous speed, but complain less.. We are really a Singaporean! Complain king!

too fast, complain. too slow complain. how about asking the bus companies to get 5 million buses, 1 for each passenger. and then employ 5 million drivers, 1 for each passenger. Then every passenger will get their optimal comfort. No need to squeeze with other passengers, no need to stand no steps, no need to get feet stuck at the door and no australian to compare our transport system with Australia's. How about that for a start?

otherwise I can't imagine 5 million KUBs all over.. -
Five million SMRT buses and also five million SBSTransit buses.
So each Singaporean will have two buses. Hopefully then won't complain.

last month i took TIB537B on 970, the driver also drove at a super fast speed, overtake and never give way to SBS buses. lol

There is one crazy uncle on 190. Met once.
He tried to knock down a motorcyclist in front of him. He tailgate the motorcyclist until the motorcyclist filter to the other lane and he was cursing while driving... I WANT YOU (motorcyclist) DEAD! Why are you hogging my lane... DRIVE FASTER... KNOCK YOU DOWN.... KNOCK YOU DOWN.... -

There is already this service. It starts from YMCA to Choa Chu Kang Interchange at 12 minutes interval, apart from those coming from New Bridge Road at about 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs daily.

Today TIB458X(on 911) almost got into an accident with a car. As the car was waiting for people to cross over the traffic, TIB458X chiong out of WRI and horn at the car before turning out to dodge the car.

All i can say is,be grateful that at least SMRT bus drivers drive faster than SBS...If u get the SBS driver/s who drives so slow,especially nearing traffic lights that's green,going in busstops when no one's alighting or at the busstops.,you'll curse like mad.So next time u take SMRT buses,always remember to grab on to the poles or something cause they sure will drive off fast..lol

LOL Fast Also Complain? Too SLow? Also Complain. Haiz... I m in Fact Very Happy With SMRT Drivers Driving Fast. SBST Arh is like WTF sia Sometime. Green light can Stop Somemore? Why Cos His Early. No One Alight Or Boarding already Driver Still Take Own Sweet Time Close Door. Lift Off Handbrake, Slowly Turn Out Waste Time leh!

Theres once I took the bus(my name, SBS8892R) on svc 242. The bus stop dint stop at the place where i ringed the bell. I mean, I ring the bell before the bus stop, but he didnt stop. So many people alighting there but never stop. Damn it must walk back. I heard other ppl complaining while we walk..then ended up late for sch. If I stop at that correct bus stop, I wouldnt be late for sch, as the bus stop is infront of my school!!!

But if early schedule, confirm BC will try to drive slowly. Took TIB640K on 187 to WRI. When the bus reached last stop of Bukit Panjang Road, he realised that it was early schedule. So, he decided to drive the snail speed from there to WRI. -

dont u all know . whether its SBST or SMRT . thry scout their FT bus driver all from the China F1 tracks .
when i was in china last year, i encounter the bus driver 'DRIVE ON THE PATHWAY OF THE WALKWAY JUST TO SKIP THE JAM, IT MAKE A UNTURN SOMEWHERE AND HEAD FACE THE ONCOMMING TRAFFIC IN A SMALL LANE, TURN OUT FROM SOME SMALL CORNORS AND was back on the normal track. '

Drive fast but safely & drive fast but dangerously are two different things leh, of course must complain lah. Or you want the bus uncle to hit your mother then complain? To knock down your soon be wife then happy? Chey!

Five million K230UBs??? Then you can see KUBs everywhere in Singapore(99.999999999999999% KUB, 0.000000000000001% for other Buses)

wah kao nt enough? u noe hw dulan it is to wait for SBS bus at Orchard then u see 190 come every 2 or 3 minute... !@#$ i think SMRT is already doing a good job wrt the 190 freq.

To be honest, Svc 190 is one of my favourite bus route and I like the frequency of Svc 190 during non peak hours but what is the point of the bus arriving every 5 mins when every bus is filled to the brim (driver won't even open door)and you can't board it during peak hours . In addition, the bus driver was driving recklessly which endanger the lives of the passengers. Don't ge me wrong ... I like buses to be fast only when there are few passengers and it is travelling on the Exp. way but please drive slower and safely if the bus is fully packed .Btw, I am also a bus fan and I like this forum.
