anyway it's all abt perception, whatever the effect of the quote may have on a person. the problem may not neccessarily lie wif the quote.

i think 'should' itself is too strong a word to use, afterall, we're humans who are controlled by emotions. Since our heart rules over the head, no one can never be selfish. true enuff, there isn't such a term as 'selfish love'. however, wat i stated was that humans are creatures controlled by their feelings, not that love is selfish. if u'r talking abt what love ought or ought not to be, it might be too much a sweeping statement.
