It doesn't matter who you love or how you love. If you are not in love or loving somebody, you are only half alive. Why do I love him? Because he is a thief, the first day I met him he stole my heart. Why, then, do I hate myself? Because I left my heart vulnerable, when the past has told me time and time again not to. Forgive the tears, they are only bits of selfishness that could be contanied no longer. I only wish to keep you a little longer. Within the boundaries of my immediate life. Thank you for touching my life. And letting me know you.Now this is really nice! I particularly like that immediate boundaries part. You didn't come up with this yourself or did you?
Too many of us stay walled because we are afraid to care too much, for fear the other person does not care as much or not at all. We don't love qualities, we love a person; sometimes by reason of their defects as well as their qualities.
"In those vernal seasons of the years, when the air is calm and pleasant, it were an injury and sullenness against Nature not to go out and see her riches, and partake in her rejoicing with heaven and earth."------------------
- John Milton (1608 - 1674)

Sometimes the people who are actually alert enough to turn back at the last 10 feets are the real 'survivors'..... This phrase is more like a 'motivator'..... Used INAPPROPRIATELY, could be a very misleading one too.....I get what you mean. In other words you should know when to quit - there's no point in insisting on a losing situation!
You sure is right about that part that I'm not from Jurong Institute.... I'm just a Devil.... A TRUE BREED wannabe who is created by the earth that extends from beyond...... I'm lured here by the smell of philosophies.....Of course not! Anyway what I'm trying to say is that quotes are never fully right. And being a quote lover yourself maybe you should give those quotes a break. I believe that we are critical enough to know the limitations of a quote. Thanks anyway for the comments - shows that you actually ponder about those quotes.
The reason why phrases contradict each other is because words used are FROZEN, time won't...... Sounding COOL acts to no sense of practicality if it does not help.... And in some cases HARM yourself...? Just like I'm sure if you're wearing a watch, you're most probably wearing a watch because it tells you the time... Not because it looks COOL but doesn't give the correct time....? I hope not...?
