Personal views & opinions on listening to J-rock.

  Hello!!Really happy to find a place where there is also ppl who likes to listen to bandsound.I find that J-rock with makeup & fanci clothings is a must as like when we go to school we wear uniforms so when we are performing in the stage we need to have another appearance...
  
  No doubt abt it as most of the J-rockers who are males after make up look almost a female & also with another personality when they perform.But i think S'pore doesn't accepts such a custom as ppl will think that u are mad wearing funny clothings & dress up like a devil!!As i have seen giggs before in S'pore,either J-rock or Chinese or English rock no one dares to wear cosplay at stage!But frm what i know my friend who is in another band says that he has try cosplay before but ppl will talking their back & so he advise me u have to play good music & then with cosplay ppl will look upon u as real performers.

  but i found someone else in my class who also likes gackt and malice mizer...interesting.

  Mmmmmmm..maybe becos of their gothic & eerie clothings that is why ppl can't accept them..So looks like The New Rock & Kaoru Camui are still studying so can i have a question are u two male or female?Sorry just curious i myself is a male now serving NS.

  hmmm
  I'm don't really like the way visual jrockers dress... but i can accept it... though i dont really see the point in dressing up so extravagantly, and not really dressing up nice as well... I think many of the members are actually quite good looking without their dressing and make up, but they want to "uglify" themselves... why??

  Yah maybe but this happens mostly to J-rock bands who are in their indies period.Eg Luna Sea,Glay,L Arc En'Ciel & etc u dun see them now in makeup or funny clothings anymore.This means the ppl who listens to them has already accepts their music & so their promote to a major level.In my personal view,they dress up to attract attention so that ppl will listen to them.
