Is it worth the sacrifice??

ok..a little confession to make..this job I am working for is 12 hours shift..as you all know work 3 days, rest 4 days..and then the next week work 4 days, rest 3 days.. rotate day and night 2 weeks interval..
pay wise I can get $3500 per month..
but the little problem is I keep havin insomnia which I think sucks!! I cant sleep till 3 or 4 in the morning and I got to wake up 7 in the early morning to work again..(no wonder most of my collegues said I look much older now..damn!)
I tried finding another job but the guy said the most I can get to is $1900 for the new job, but I will get to work normal shift..and hope I can tune my bodyclock to where it should be..
but the huge pay reduction really pissed me off...so wat do you all suggest??

Maintenance line is true that seldom have 8-5 as machines work 24hrs a day and someone have to maintain it right?But you getting so much is due to your shift work and 8-5 don't pay so much leh,unless you willing to switch to another line of work,heehe

have u checked out other similar companies and compare the workin hrs?

If night shift is really torturing you. Go ahead and make better choice. I also understand the torture of night shift. Don't forget I used to work night shift before and most important I am also working night shift now. I remember I give your my advice to you last time when you told me your problem. I will still stick to the same old advie I gave you last time. Just do what you feel happy and not let others or other outside circumstances influence your choice.

Come to the same when it is normal shift lah
I always have to work O.T
By the time I reach home is around 8 or 9
But some time can dun work O.T
It is very tiring after a day work lah
So u must think carefully when u wan to study part time.

they oways told me the same thing..I will get alot of sickness in the near future when I hit 30s..and I got to use all the OT $$$ to pay for my medical bills..tink I really need to get the word 'SLEEP' in my dictionary again..ehhehehehehehe
