Just to move away a bit from our discussion about Reds. Well, the hottest event of soccer currently is of course the Euro 2000. So shall we pick our favourite teams to make it to last four and the eventual winner ?
I personally feel that Spain, Holland, Czech Republic and Portugal can make it to the last four. Rather surprised har at my picks?
My pick for the Euro 2000 champion is Holland, the host and the runner-up, sad to say is again Czech Rep. I think Czech Rep. is really on top form currently, judging from their impressive qualifying results. Moreover, their strength lie on their teamwork though they also have quite a number of outstanding individuals like Nedved, Koller and of course Berger. As for Holland, I shan't comment too much as everyone knows their strength in depth. I think the top-scorer could be P. Kluivert or Jan Koller. What do you think, fellow Reds fans ?
From the games played this few days, i think France, Holland, Czech Republic, Italy will make thur quarters.......i will name the rest after a few more matches......of cos not that obvious(when the actual 8 are named)
I hoped for a Holland and England final.......more exciting......cos both are bookmakers' fav.

looks like i will be putting my money on the dutch and czechs this time around.
really think this two team got the potential to make it big this time around.
HOLLAND - playing @ home would really give them the first advantage and with the wealth of talent in the squad, no matter in goal, defence or attack, they should be able to do it.
Czech Rep. - new found attacking option and strategy - pump the ball for KOLLER!!!! Strong attack and mid. DEF AND GK i not sure liao. but they qualify with 100% no losses so i can say they are totally prepared and dependable this time round.
