Well, the Liverpool midfield looks pretty much in shape, with the likes of Redknapp, Hammann, Smicer, Berger, Murphy, Thompson. Liverpool is said to be hunting for the name of Karembeau. Is there a necessity?? If there is, will Karembeau be the man?

dun think it is necessary loh
anyway wat liverpool need won't be a player of karembeu's calibre but instead should be player who can deliver the deadly decisive passes!

player like zidane, luis enrique and some others lah

they would help liverpool score even if they dun!

I think that is the role that Houllier is hopping Hammann and Smicer will fill in. Liverpool all in all has a quite respectable midfield. But I think what is missing is a commanding figure in midfield, someone like Roy Keane for Manchester United. Comments??

Yeap, quite true, Steve Gerrard is pipped for that role I think, in the future though..... right now, I agree that is something that is missing......
