Well, the other page was getting a little bit crowded, let's start a new page for our team status.
Last night, we took on top placed Spook Demons and came away with a narrow 11-9 victory!! Thankfully, they did not place their spinning giants Tom How and Jerome, which probably helped a little bit.
Hayden: 190 - 171 - 165 - 194 (pretty good!)
Jae: 213 - 182 - 147 - 180 (1 high and 1 low)
David: 177 - 176 - 174 - 172 (consistently downward trend....)
After last night's matchup, we are now standing in 6th place, 6.5 points behind 5th placed eBowlers United, and 8.5 points ahead of 7th placed X-Treme Ace.
However, we now face 2nd placed LETAC Gallery next week 14/9 and then face 7th placed X-Treme Ace on 21/9. Fun! STEEEEEEEEEEAMMM....
So who shall face them in mortal combat? -

Hi folks,
We managed to get 5 points off a rampaging LETAC GALLERY on this Tuesday.
Our poor Michelle was on the receiving end of a 279 from Roger Tuar... a team that can afford to put Roger in the first bowler slot... well, you get the idea.
After Tuesday's matchup, we're holding steady at 6th place on 247 pts. However, we have 7th place Infinity snapping right at our heels just 1.5 pts behind on 245.5 pts, and just 4.5 pts ahead of 8th placed Extreme Ace, our opponents next week.
5th placed eBowlers United are soaring further away from us on 259.5 pts......

Last minute substitution in last night's game vs X-treme Ace, with myself pulling out and replaced by Magey boy.
Sure looks like an inspired substitution, as we cheered (Jae, Michelle, Hanz and myself) the boys (Gayden, Joooooo and Magey) to a 14-6 victory! With our BeeeBoooBeeBooo tactics, who can stand against us?!?!?!?
Magey ooohs and aaaahs to 187.25 avg!
Jooooo steaaaaaaaaams to 175.75 avg!
Hayden beeboobeeboos to 181.75 avg!
As such, we open a 12.5 point gap from ourselves to 8th placed X-treme Ace. UNFORTUNATELY, Infinity gave Sixers a 16-4 shellacking, and in doing so now occupies 6th place on 261.5 pts. We now drop to 7th, just 0.5 pts behind on 261...... Sixers, our opponents for next week, now lie 20 points behind on 9th.
So if we lose 0-20 to them next week we'll be tied lor ..... -

Joining a team itself is simple... jut get invited! For example, do join us when we are bowling outings, and if you feel you're ready to contribute and we have slots available in the squad, tadah! You're in!
Most of us started out as "friends of another friend". I started out knowing just a couple members of Team FOS, but as we "made friends with each other's friends" through bowling over a period of time and there you go. We have bowled in several leagues and got our butt kicked a fair bit as well.
Heheheheh but building the team spirit is the most important thing, and I'm glad to say that Team F.O.S. members share a close bond when bowling and it does help when it comes to the crunch on the lanes. Every bowler must play their part. Team F.O.S. probably has the greatest team spirit amongst all the teams I've been a part of. -

Well well! Last nite we squared off against sixers.
WX, jae and prata took the lanes and came back wif 10 points!
Power WX in form and took a 800 series to wrap up 5 points against his opponent jack ang!

Apologies, folks. I feel quite sad that I bowled badly for my last 2 games, especially the last one which was a SHOCKA! OMG! STEAAAAMMMM~~~ Haven't put up that sort of horrible score since... wait. I did that recently! Heh heh.... ....... jialat.
Not that I would have beaten his 221... but at least I should do myself some justice rather than crumbling.... hmmm cookie crumbles.... the way I did.
*SIGH* - Anyway Jae! If my schedule allows I would volunteer to bowl again, assuming there are slots available. Will advise you as soon as I get any news. -
