REMOVE OIL FROM BALL
regarding this issue....its been around for years..... there are a few methods to remove oil....even oil u dun see
1. plazabowl pro shop used to have this oven to "bake" the oil out from the ball... its the safest method....cause done by professional...lol... won't chao da or uncook....
2. wrap ur ball with newspaper put inside a box....and leave it under the hot sun for a few hrs.... this method's result varies.... because u don't know how strong is the sunlight and how long u can put under the heat to force the oil out.
3. worst of all 3 methods... put it in ur car boot....leave ur car under hot sun... i think 1-2hr later u should see the oil on the surface....
but all 3 methods are suggested for balls that are 3yrs ago....i heard lately that new balls cannot go thru this kind of treatment....will die even faster....
It fun to try out this treatment on ur balls...heehee...i personally tested the above 3 methods on my ThunderRoad... until today still can use....hee

1. boil hot water
2. fill it the pail with hot water
3. mix with cold water
4. put abit of soap
5. put the ball in and let it soak for 1 hr
6. dry the ball and polish it
7. its done -
i don't recommend soaking in water.... ur ball might absorb abit of water into the ball... it can suck oil...i believe it might suck abit of water too.... cleaning with soap is ok.... but thats wat i do whenever i need to apply polish solution on the ball.... clean surface easier to absorb the solution...

saw open ball, use cotton wool to absorb oil, put superglue to stick it back....
Moi used to do the soak in warm water thing. if u put water colors in it, after a while, u can actually see the oil rising out from the ball in the pail of water, under clear lighting.
After the soaking time had reached, I recommend inserting a hose into the pail and turn on the tap. overflow the water and the oil layer on top. If I just take the ball out of the water, the oil layer on top will be absorb back into the ball again.
Seldom do that now....lazy. Moi just use those STORM cleaners...
