Okie dokies, folks!
Here's an update of the team standings after 8 weeks. There is going to be a week lull period thanks (or no thanks, rather) to Vesak Day, and hostilites with the other teams can only resume on 9 Jun as a result. So I thought this would be a good time to check out our progress.
TEAM STATS
Team points: 86.5 (about 10.8 pts won per session)
Highest points won: 17.5 (Wk 4 vs LCS Novena)
Lowest points won: 6 (Wk 3 vs Infinity)
We're above passing mark, which is a good sign. We haven't gotten exactly as much points as we would have liked against the "weaker" teams, but I believe it's been cancelled out by the fact that we managed to hold our own against the big boys as well, without getting blown out.
Current league position: 7th
X-Treme Ace is on 8th with 81 pts, just 5.5 pts in arrears, and Simple is on 6th with 92 pts, also just 5.5 pts ahead. That can easily change with a very good or poor result, but our target of finishing in the top 6 after the first leg is definitely not out of reach.
Team total (scr): 16599 (avg 172.9 per game overall)
This is a solid improvement over recent leagues. We are above 170 on average every game, which hasn't really happened in other leagues we have participated in. Keep up the good work, and 175 really isn't impossible either.

I like the fact that we are still setting highs as we go along, which goes to show that we improve with each passing week.

I must say that the addition of Joo really made up for the lack of anchor material in the squad. His consistency on the lanes cannot be overstated, because it provides a security base for the other bowlers to perform.
The team has generally gelled well together despite the presence of a couple new faces and also a new style or 2 (eh Hayden?) ... Looking forward to the next session, YEE HAA!

tat i had gone to spinning for this season. And i will still be spinning throughout for this season till i'm really 100% "hook" fit. 
Hope members do understand tat....
But no matter wat, I think tat this season we're more established in team formation with new faces and styles, namely Joo Hian (R hook), Michelle (R Hook) and Steven (L Spin) and Hayden ( new R spin).
So lets keep our heads up and ROCK though this season with a "BANG!"
More or less 1st round we're done with the "big boys" of the league and did fairly well against them . Now wat we need to do is to bowl well against the rest of the teams and try not to let out to many simple points away to our opponents....

We came off with 16 points. Wx sweep all 5 and jae sweep all 5 points ! I came off with 2 points only

Team F.O.S is currently standing at 7th position in our tuesday league. We're behind 6th place eBowlers by 1.5 points and behind 5th placed Simple by 5 points! We are against Simple next Tuesday and eBowlers will be against X-treme Ace(8th position). So its a good chance for us to move up the table next week. Rock on dudes!
In the meantime, we're pulling away from 8th placed X-treme by 6.5 points and 9th placed Pacers by 16.5 points!
Tink we're doing quite well at the moment , playing well against BIG gunners and getting most vital points from the rest.
After our match against Simple, we're up against another high flying team....Elite eBowlers (1st position) next week!

We went head on with Team Simple, but it was anything but that!
After a back and forth clash, we emerged from the lanes behind 9 pts to 11. Just lost barely, despite a new team high scratch of 2195.
Team update:
The team started out brightly, scoring 7 of 8 points in the first 2 games alone, winning 5 of 6 games and both team scores. However, Team Simple made a remarkable comeback and stormed to take 10 of the 12 remaining available points.
Individual update:
Steven gave his best performance to date, hitting a 188 average on his way to 3 pts, including a 223 game. Only a herculean 224 effort by his lady opponent in the 2nd and a slip up by himself in the 3rd denied him all 5 pts.
I gave it all I could, but was overwhelmed completely by my opponent in the "2nd half", who put up 210 and 221 to finish up. In the end, my 190 avg allowed me only to take 2 points from my opponent's 196.75 avg.
Deamon made a hot start, but didn't fire on all cylinders in the last 2 games, as he too, got swept in the "2nd half". Deamon averaged 170.75, barely shaded by his opponent's 171.75 avg.
7 individual pts, 2 team pts = 9 pts total.

Hi members! Well we had a good start i should say, but credits to the members playing. Simple fielded two strong bowlers for their 2nd and 3rd bowler slots. Tink our members did very well against them. Steven came through with good performance to boost the team . Joo Hian came and shook off a thumb injury to be back in action and played well too. Prata continued his fine run of good form to lead us, now being the member with the lowest hcp!
Next week tough opponents ahead with table toppers elite eBowler! So lets ROCK on DudeS@ -
The results are out.
We remain firmly locked in 7th place, with 111.5 pts.
Unfortunately eBowlers United scored 12 pts over Xtreme Ace's 8 pts in Tuesday night's match. As such, eBowlers United remains ahead of us in 6th place with 116 pts, and Simple pull slightly further ahead as well, now on 118.5 pts further ahead in 5th.
Behind us are XTreme Ace with 104 pts in 8th place, and Pacer in 9th place on 99 pts.
Next up, 1st placed Elite eBowlers. They average between 171 - 198, a very well balanced side with 6 bowlers averaging in the mid 180s and above. -
9 points gained is very valuable, and great works for the 3 who played on last tue.

Hi members! Today our field outing had a good win, against table toppers, eLite Bowlers. Our players are Hayden, Jae and anchor Mage.
We managed to squeeze 15.5 pts from them!
Hayden attained 3.5 points from his opponent, avging 168 today. I was lucky as i took 1.5 points off my opponent by hcp (mine being 12, his being 5) 143,215,156,161. Need lots of fine tuning for my bowling. Nonetheless, I feel quite comfortable.
Jae started with a 600 series for his 1st three games, only let loose on his 4th game. 180, 224, 197, 148. (Jae hcp 11 vs opponent hcp 1) Another big hcp advantage. Nonetheless, Captain Jae took back 3 pts! Avg today a power 187!
Mage ! Today avg 189 (hcp 3)! Let down in his second game 138! Total 4 points taken back! His uphill task against Lester Chia (hcp 0) But mage showed Outstanding form in his game 1, 3 and 4th game! All 200+
Mage 211, 132, 203, 211 avg 189!
We won all team games, so total of 5 points for that!
