2) do you guys play for fun or for tournaments?
3) how often do you guys bowl?
4) where do you guys often bowl?
5) any joining fees?
Answers to your questions.....
1) Anyone with SIM,Part-time or Full-Time is eligible. Even those doing a Part-Time Cert. Course is.
2) Most of us don't just play without a goal. All of us bowl to get better. We take part in external leagues at Civil Service Club and at Silver Bowl for example. However, only the tournaments in which we represent SIM against other institutions are subsidized for, by SIM.
3) We try to make it a weekly affair. However it is difficult to get all of us to commit to that particular day in a week. So when possible, should there be enough bowlers available, we will hold our trainings or get-together bowling sessions.
4)We don't just bowl in one place, if that's what you mean. It depends on where is convenient and agreeable on. However, most of the time we bowl at East-Side Bowl, Silver Bowl, Classic or Plaza Bowl, Civil Service Club or the Grass Roots Club. Of course we individually bowl else where as well.
5) Nope, there are no joining fees. We only pay for the games we bowl and for whenever we get our coach to coach us. Another words, we pay for what we use. If we don't feel like going for training, then we don't go nor have to pay.
Another words, no obligations. This club was formed out of pure interest in this sport. NOT to raise funds of any kind. for our bowling team, nor for the school......Keep a look out for information on our bowling activities right here on this web-site...
Hope this answers your questions to your satisfaction.......Hope to see you at our next outing.....CHEERS!!!
