hi pple, think i'll start a new page on this topic. There are some minor changes to the lane change format. Pls take note.;o

Date of Tournament: 30th June Sunday
Check-in Time: 0930hrs
Roll-Off Time: 1000hrs
Venue: Classic Bowl, Sultan Plaza
Registration Fees: $17 per bowler OR $51 per team. (Pls pay exact amount) The cost of 6 games will be $15. $2 per bowler for the prize money.
Game Format:
1. 6 Games per bowler
2. 3 Bowlers per team
3. 1 team per lane
4. Lane change after every 2 games. Odd lanes shift left, even lanes shift right.
Ladies will have a 15 pin handicap per game.
Prizes: At this point of time, the number of bowlers participating are not confirmed. There will be 4 cash prize given.
1st -35% of prize money
2nd -25% of prize money
3rd -20% of prize money
High Game -20% of prize money
The percentage prize money allocation is only a guide. I reserved the right to amend.

Bowlers interested to participate should form a team of three. The nominated team captain should email me the following:
1. Names of team members, clearly indicating who is the team captain.
2. The sex of the members.
3. Contact No of the team captain.
4. The team name, unless you want me calling your team something from the cartoons.
The closing date for registration and fees payment is 23th June Sunday. Unlike previously, I cant collect only on the actual day itself. Can someone volunteer to collect and make arrangements to past the money to me? Ding? Ian? Prataman? Or maybe consolidate the money and give me a call. Meanwhile, you can send me the team particulars.
Teams interested but have not make payment will be put into consideration only when there are lanes avaliable. Sorry people, I think this is the best way to be fair to all. At this point of time, I only book 14 lanes. If there are fewer teams, then fine. If there are more, then priority will be made to teams who had paid. If the response is absolutely overwhelming, then I can try to get more lanes.

The percentages are rather difficult to arrange. I guess a 40%, 30%, 20% + 10% for the high game.
In a 6 game series, i think the one who emerges top 3 at the end deserves more credit than a single high score. IMO.

Regarding payments, you can always provide your bank account no. so we can transfer funds to your account right?
Just need to notify you when we are transfering so you would know who has paid up. Technology is meant to convenient us..

Hi, just want to find out. There were 4 prizes, are they for the indibidual or team event? Ifit is for the former, there wouldnt be any need to form a team. Jordan, u did not mention that in format of the competition. If its individual, then i guess players who could not find a team need to have to fret so much.
secondly...a suggestion on the high game. instead of using percentage of total takings, why not just put a lump sum? ie just determine how much to win for high game.

its an individual format. I request u all to forms teams so that it is easier to for u. Some would want to bowl with some they like and not with others.
as for the electronic transfer thing, what do i need to provide? never used b4 leh...

Its not so much of whether you used it before but whether those who are transfering the funds to you have used it before.
You just need to shake leg n wait for the $$ to turn up in your bank account.
But you might have to provide you bank account no. and for those who might want to do internet banking with their DBS/POSB account, you would have to provide the branch of the bank that you have registered under as well.
Those who did inter bank fund transfer before should know what im talking about.
Just thought it might save everyone the trouble of meeting up just to make the payment. -

Yoz Jordan. got a problem now.
got my IPPT letter and my IPT is on the day of the classic! It will start at 7.30am at bedok camp. the longest it take i think will be ard 9.30. go back bath and go to classic bowl will probably take me another hour. Wonder if all the bowlers aggreeable to delay the competition? If not, i juts have to pull out then... -

I have no problems with delaying the start. Allows me the chance to sleep in! And the tourney won't be the same without the defending high-game champion. Do you think you'd be in shape to play, though? After IPPT... -

ah, this is bad. The rates for the afternoon session is fifty cents more per game then what we are given for the morning. Will see what can be done.

IPPT on a sunday? How 'jek ark' can SAF be? I tot IPPT is usually on either a weekday evening or a sat evening? Wat sia.
This is bad. Im sure it would somehow hinder the performance of our defending high game champion. good luck to you. -
The games are more expensive? So that makes the fee per bowler $20? That's still very reasonable to me.
