Another tourny similar to Classic

Dear all,
Silver bowl is organising a tournamnet that is smilar to the classic tournament. The date is on 22/6/03, sunday. Check in 2.30pm and roll-off at 3pm.This tourny is only valid for bowlers with 178avg and below
Fees is $45 and playing for 6games. Ladies will be given 12pins handicap. The prizes are as follows:
1st: $500
2nd: $300
3rd: $200
4th: $150
5th: $100
6th: $70
7th-10th : $50
Anyway interested? Its the week after classic 6. Those interested may leave yr name here and i will regrister for you at silver bowl.

But I guess alot of ppl will still prefer to join Classic, 15th June. -
The prize's quite good for a below178 competition(hence the high fee). But somehow I doubt the alley is admitting only bowlers with ave below 178.
Don't think it'll be as value-added as Classic's tourny(meaning how much of the fee is allocated as prize monies?)

The tourny will be postponed 1 mth later. This is becos they do not want it to clash with another similiar tourny at classic.
Heard they will try to use the kegel oiling machine for this tourny too. I wouldn't want to comment on the oiling stuff cos i have yet to bowl on kegel oiling condition, but its somewhat different from the common AMF's silver bullet oiling machine seen in bowling centers.
The difference? U can guage for yrself if u pass by silver bowl and look at the score board for an open master challenge held last mth, which was won by Mr Jack Wong -
Wouldnt that means its good for us hook bowlers?
Unless previous oilings that is considered too wrong to play on...
I seriously dun mind playing but when I look and realise that the bowlers at Katong are dominated by spinners, it makes me feel a slight disadvantage for hook bowlers.
Therefore, I may go and see only.
If things are what I like, I will be there for the next tourney, if there is any..
