  Yo! Forumites...seems that this Classic Challenge 6 has gotten into part of bowling schedule oredi . Hahaha
  Ok! Here's the date for this coming June!
  Date : 15/6/03
  Roll Off : 10am

  we saw the Scout reactive at Sam's ProShop, @Cathay Eastside (soon will be known as Leisure Bowl instead).
  i think it'll be ard $50 or $60...but not very sure.
  can call me to get Sam's no if u wan.

  174.3 avg for 12th position,
  167.3 avg for 20th position
  
  Classic Challenge 4
  177.8 avg for 12th position
  168.0 avg for 24th position
  
  Classic Challenge 5
  179.5 avg for 13th position
  174.6 avg for 20th position
  
  Under ever increasing standards, there is an average of 3 pins jump across Classic Challenge 3 to 5 for the 12th and the 20th position. Hence, predicts a minimum of 183 avg for the 12th position and a minimum of 177 avg for the 20th position for the coming Classic Challenge 6.
  
  To get above 20th, you've got to avg 177.
  
  Over 8 games.
  
  With lane changes.
  
  Against ah peks.
  
  And people who pretend to average below the whatever limit.

  i dun exactly relish the tot of playing there anymore. even in the leagues. after this season i will prob leave. the pple's atitude there is atrocious. esp the ahpek bunch. anyway thats my problem.

  Ian, it's more crowded this season with 18 teams(as compared to 12 last season).
  
  Well, the good thing is that more youngsters joined the leagues, some of them are very good bowlers
  
  Well, I don't really fancy the ah peks there because they smoke indiscriminately. Think it's their house
  
  Think most of them are new to this league and didn't know the house rules established since last season...... NO SMOKING
  
  Guess it's time for the environment officers to pay a few more visits

  Didn't enjoy myself last night partly due to the "haze" in the alley I'm disgusted. Why can't they just destroy their own bodies

  if left alone, they wouldn't bother you so much.
  You sometimes wouldnt even get a whiff of the smoke if you didnt notice.
  Maybe you should realise that monitoring of smokers is not a one-man job, and reminders by the staff may not result in immediate effects. Getting the environmental people down isn't a permanent solution, just a short-term scare for the smokers there.
  If you are looking for a cure to smoking woes, unless the smokers take precaution not to leak any smoke into the alley (which is unlikely because opening of the door will result in smoke drifting in)
  otherwise, dont bowl there at all.
  Its a compromise actually. Its never possible to win this battle. Thats why I disappear far away when i smoke. If others aren't following, you also cant do much. Every solution is a short-term cure. Otherwise, install those air-freshener auto spray for the alley lor.

  A few months ago, one or two were fined when the officers do spot check. Guess those smokers need the reminders again on how to behave in a aircon environment. 40-50 years of age don't make them any more considerate it seems

  You can simply go down to Classics Bowl on the day itself for registration. First come first served(depends on number taking part, a max of 60 or so).
  
  Price 88 ringgit or 40 Sing

  So sad, just cos my average happened to be higher now, I am not allowed to join the challenge.
  
  I should had try to keep it low enough. Think I just miss it the cut-off by about a few pins....
