Spinners striking requirement

For my ball to strike, my ball need to go in a straight line to near the centre of Pin 1, then at the last 1-2 feet back-up lightly into the 1,3 pocket. Then no need to see, 90% strike. For more info I recomment go to yahoo search for "bowling spinner style". You will see a clip on the "helicopter strike". Notice how the ball spin against the 1 then 3 pins causing the pins sweep into the stack while the ball get out of the way to maximise pin actions.
I develop another loafing release that cause my ball to spin but no back-up. This style seldom result in strike, if hit directly centre will result in a 7,10 even a greek church split . I used this release to get spare. -
Funny coz' i seem to get better strike rates when i hit the 1-2 pocket.....
Maybe it's my game coz' i've heard that 1-3 are the better pocket for spinners!!!

Well, a strike is a strike. Just look at the face of your opponent when you string 3-4 disgustingly-lucky-strikes together

Depend if your spinner ball is a back up or a hook. If hook 1,2 pocket is better. If backup, 1,3 pocket is better. The ball need to travel away from the deck rather than into the centre of the deck.Originally posted by Ding:Usually hear that comment too. Also from observation, that seems the case.
