SIM Bowling

  Hi,
  I am interested in finding more about the S.I.M. bowling club. Currently I am studying part-time in S.I.M. Can someone tell me how I could find out more about this club and how I can join it?

  Hello and welcome to the forum
  
  SIM Bowling club is formed by a group of bowling enthusiast. The aim of the club is to introduce bowling to the student population and to spice up campus life.
  
  The club organise competitions for the students and also take part in external competitions too.
  
  About membership matters, I'll leave it to the current batch of students/exco FYI, I graduated in 2000

  Ps : guys, i've met Nick b4 and after telling him abt the forum, I found out that he's actually currently in SIM doing a part time studies. So maybe you guys can direct him to your training session at Kim Seng?

  SIM/UOL Bowling Club President VtecAddict! has made suggestions to open up the club so that we can also take in RMIT students who wish to bowl as well. In that case, we will have to be renamed as SIM Bowling Club.
  
  However, much as yet to be concluded. In the meantime, due to studies or rather...exams, most of us are not bowling except for our own respective leagues. Perhaps after mid June, we will be organising training and regular bowling sessions for SIMers. However, this might be prolonged due to the fact that we have to prepare for orientation, where we will draft in the new batch to get more members. In the meantime, nothing has been planned except studying!

  Well as P1 has said almost everything except for personal committments has been paused for the time being due to the coming exams...
  But dun worry once they finish in mid June or so we will continue our weekly training sessions....
  As for eligibility, dun worry coz anyone who has any classes in SIM are more than welcomed to join, in fact we currently have 2 part-timers in the club....
  How about calling mailing me so that i can give you a bit more info??
