And Jae, everytime you see a "Zone Pro", you can be sure early generation Zone Proactives are NOT designed for anything less than at least med-med heavy lane conditions. -

He's got that many to sell maybe because he bowls that much? From what I know, he's a professional amateur. Seen him bowl before in competitions. I think Prataman can tell you about the way he bowls...you can tell from that he'd only use the best equipment...

$40 for a blue dot is not cheap man. It's a plastic ball, for goodness sake. Pancake weight block, does nothing. Besides going straight that is, which is what you want.
My opinion on spare balls --- get one at least second-hand, it doesn't really matter how many times it's been plugged, it's PLASTIC. Got my bluey third-hand, it works great. Unless, you're forking out money to get a real nice one, like an ebonite clear wolf, or it's part of your starter pack, bo pian. Or if you're big on aesthetics, then... *shrug*. Some people must look good to feel good to play good. -
not meaning to imply that the dealer is dodgy...
but the prices of bowling balls in not like other items. the depreciation is not like 50% or less. its like once bought, it should drop to less than $100. once replugged, i personally wun sell for more than $40, even if it was a high end ball.
when u plug a ball, it loses its effectiveness and wat if the plug was on the track? the plug can never be the same material as the original coverstock.
no matter how good the ball condition is, u will still have to recon it or shine/dull it to the requirements u need. thats more money spent again.
another item i noticed was that a ball wif the bridge cracked was going for $120! once the bridge is cracked, how do u know the core or surrounding coverstock isnt affected? some cracks are so minisicule u cannot detect from the eye, and one fine day when u bowl, ur whole finger plug comes off?
really, no insult or implied defamation intended, but i do tink the balls are way too expensive. and as i said, its my own personal opinion. -
well, i bought my ShockZone 2nd hand (previous owner threw less than 15 games) and inclusive of replug is $130.
personally, i dunno about the price...but sure looks abit exp.
Maybe if all balls state how many times it has been thrown, u get a clearer picture??
