Think I have no qualms about regina joining our team, i've seen her play.....
and yes i think she can contribute to the good cause of the team.
hell, she may even kicki our asses!
so the final verdict is that Regina should be included......

Yo guys! Really a big thank you for your support to Regina. Actually she and I was having second thoughts abt her joining our league, for the fear of the pressure abt her performing as a newbie. Well, everyone's got their debut somewhere somehow. I got mine with you guys! And I really appreciate all you guys support and understandings!
Will definitely train harder and XXX all the wayyyyyy!!!!

I have no qualms about Regina joining the team at all
Just need to let her know and anticipant the challenges Surely didn't wanna see anybody in the team giving up halfway thru the session.
Also to state the point that no member should be excluded from the fine systems if it were to be introduced to the whole team. Else just scrape the idea

My response is also to bring down the expectation to do as well as "top three or top five" in some of the earlier exchanges.
We need to be realistic...... here we are adding new players to the team and most of our averages isn't capable yet of putting a good fight against the top teams week in week out.
Being more down to earth, we'll enjoy each session better

she'll contribute alot to the team, every team member does regardless of sex, age, race, style, avg etc etc.....
regardin the fines/rewards system,let me hav a sit down and think bout it first....
does Regina mind being included in the system? -
yes the new season starts directly after the masters for season 1, which falls on the 14th of Apr,
so season II will start one week after, which is the 21st of April.... -
actually, having a female bowler wif a good handicap is good if u can utilize it well.
i see the more experienced teams in eastside using such handicaps to trash the weaker teams as they find it hard to overcome a +30 or so extra pins.
or they sacrifice the 1st bowler's 4 points and gain the rest + the team points. all depends on the team layout. -

That's the problem I thought we might have. 12 bowlers seem to be too many. Isn't that about the number we have this season too? That's why I thought we were going to field two teams.
Since Prata said that there won't be additional teams for the classic league, I guess we're stuck with one team. -

i mean, if originally there were 12, and now there are 12, i must have replaced 1 or the previous lot....
anyway, 2 teams would certainly be nicer..but it would also mean, we have more ppl to call from in 1 team...
and possibly stronger lineup too... -

don't take this the wrong way, people.
But assuming the 12 people rotate perfectly everytime, it means we play every 3 weeks. I am looking for a more frequent commitment than that. Can we like, beg Shariff to increase the number of teams to 14? I mean, there must be other teams who want to join, right?
Chuanish wants to join too. But the number of bowlers is turning into a "push" factor for him too. -

It does bring us back to square one, doesn't it? We were talking about having more playing time and having 12 players in the team... well, we won't be able to play as often as some of us may like.
Was discussing it with Emperor Hanz and Jordan the Highness last night. If we can just get around 4 more people (best if can get up to 6) who are able to commit to Monday league, we would be able to expand into another team.
I'm pretty sure Chuan isn't the only one who is eyeing a team slot. Surely there are others as well.
First up, we have to ask Shariff if every team will be rejoining from this season. If there is a slot, why not grab it? If every team has chosen to rejoin, then we will have to ask him to see if he is able to expand the league to 14 teams.
This will extend the season to 26 weeks instead of 22 right now, issues which only he can solve and advise better.
But think of the possibilities! Forum trash talk! Forum bragging rights! And as Harmy as mentioned, hell fun when we face off against each other! Heheheh!
If we DO get more than about 4 more people to commit... and DO get Shariff to open up a slot for another forumite team.... the only problem would come in dividing us up....

I don't think we even need 4 more to commit. I think 7 or 8 per team is more than enough. More than 8 is madness if the team is serious about regular league action.
I'll be happy to move into the other team. And i'll sign Prataman on a $10m transfer fee. Hahahaha
Right now, it'll be 6 a side. That's just about enough. If Shariff won't expand the league, let's take the space of a team that's puling out. Just tell him that if any team pulls out, we'll take it's place and field two sides. -
