Cheap rates in the weekends?

Hi all,
Which centres offer reasonable rate during peak hours? I know Royal bowl's offer $3 per games at peak hours but the lanes sucks. -
I tell you Royal's lanes more than sucks. Chance upon it when in the initial months, fell the first few times on the approach as it is impossible to slide.
People who bowl for fun once a year can try loh.
Gosh, even if they give me free games, I will stay off the lanes there.

Yeah, for a few times I went there the approach was sticky. Think they having some maintenance problems i.e. approach not cleaned properly. The ball return equipment also leaft black marks on my ball that are difficult to clean off.

I went to Sliver to bowl 5 games today. $9.50 for 5 games. But after 5 games my ball kenna 8-10 scratches all about 0.5mm deep and more than 1 cm long. Do you guys know what's wrong? I was using lane no. 16.

Hmm, you must have been pretty unlucky. Lanes 13-24 are generally trouble free, with the exception of the pin sensors on a couple of them.
The real "trouble lane" is usually lane 2, that gives the ball scratches. -

Nope, I didnt. I am kind-of-bochap person. My ball was quite an old ball (Ninja Fury) with lots of scratches. But scratches this deep and long were kind of surprising (shocking?) for me. heard that CSC going to revised to $2 per game for weekend mornings. dun know how true it is ...

CSC is a great place to train. besides the fact that one of our old kakis, Jerome, from TP939ers works there.
the pins there are heavier, and the oiling isnt half bad =)
heavy pins will force u to be much more accurate. as opposed to light pin alleys. like classic. -
Thanks guys for the info on CSC. I have been there before and like the setting there. Will call them at 10am to find out the latest peak hours rate and post here later.

The rates at CSC Bowl (aka Planet). Mon-Fri (10am-7pm)- $2 per game.Sat/Sun/ PH (10am-2pm)- $2 per game. Peak hours= $3.40 per game.

It's near race course road(not sure about the exact road name) so better check the road directory before attempting to go there When you are on the main road, there's a big sign " Planet Bowl", you won't miss it
