If you take part-time, confirm tough as you'll need to juggle work and studies at the same time...
Full-time study is a more enjoyable experience and more fun too as you can join clubs and societies

Hmmm.. looks like I'm not the only one who found SIM's page sorely lacking.

Else you may like to call them up to talk to their customer service officers who can recommend a course to your requirements
I recommend that a trip be made to see for yourself the environment and facilities available. There's a nice customer service area where you can seek advices/help

i find it hard to understand the course syllabus...and oni RMIT details in there leh...
the course syllabus v messy explained.....
e.g like bus studies...they divide into diff subjects...n tell u each subject hw much etc...n aso dono issit part time or full time.....nt like MDIS homepage...everyting every subject syllabus is clearly listed... -

Nope.. the one was the one XLN mentioned.. there was a login, password and there were few other things.. and there seemed to be one UK course like XLN mentioned..

SIM is about the most professional private institutions i seen in Singapore.
to XLN - I replied to your other post, i think its more appropriate for you to decide what course u want rather than on which school you wan then choose the course, i did that but managed to reject the course in time to go to MIS. -

UOL for business course gd or nt???isit recogniseD?i tink heard tat for certain subjects,,...certain sch nt gd in it...eg. IT famous for RMIT...etc

UOL is of course a very good university. But the one offered in SIM is a Management course, very theroretical, if u wan that, then take it. y i see in webby like gt bus (economics & finance), etc subjects major in bus.......................study general one better or major in subjects betteR???i dono which line i be goin to...n i tink general one would be gd bt i tink general like nv major no specialise aso no gd...like rojak......which one is gd ahh?? hmm i tink i better go find out n see which one i prefer more....n my interests... -

1)decide what appeals to you in a daily business setting. Marketing? FInance? Hr? Admin? Management?
2) Decide on your mode of study. Full or Part time or online.
3) Look at different Instituions in Singapore, see which one offers the one u like. for this i suggest u look at the following:
a) SIM
b) MIS
c) MDIS
4) Once u decided, then its time to check on the university, if everything is ok, then sign up for it. -

ok MIS - Marketing Institute Of Singapore: It basically offers course from Curtin University banking on Marketing subjects. Where is your workplace? I noe SIM in clementi, MIS is in Pasir Panjang (near WTC), then MDIS is dependent on the course u take.
Whether recognised or not is very subjective. Recognised by who? If in Public Sector, such degrees may not be recognised. I got a fren took a degree from SIM but then kena rejected by MOE becos they dun recognised that Cert. But in Private Sector, u have lesser fears cos most companies, bar a few is concerned only u have a ddegree, doesnt really matter where it comes from unless yours is from africa or wat.....
in my view, MIS and SIM has good courses from recognised uni. -

Well its not SIM that matters as i told u, its the University that offers the Cert. Even though hers is RMIT, the subjects she studied was not relevant, so MOE rejected her. -
