Hi, the annual NUS/SIM open is coming up,
and i'd like to invite all SIM-ers who are interested to participate in the event to join us for training this fri, 1 feb, 2pm and next mon, 4 feb, 3pm. It'll most probably at grassroots' club( next to yio chu kang mrt station ) or Yishun Safra. Keep ur friday and
monday afternoon free, and @@ out for this space for more info and details regarding the training location. (",) -
jae... heard from ian that the venue's changed to some chevron boon lay. so where are we going to train this fri? stick to grassroots?

In support of our superman jae and in respond to @apple's request.. here I am...
After holding discussions with chuany n @pple, we think that it might be too inconvenient to change the training venue for this fri.
but we all feel that we must at least train there once at Chevrons. Since some of us might not make in time for training at Chevrons next mondays, we might want to add another training session there on wed.
so those who are taking part in the comp just make yourself free on either of these days to have a feel of the lanes.
However this might still be subjected to changes. keep a look out for this column for any finalised plans.

Yeah, it's THE CHEVRONS on Monday man. Should be synthetic lanes. Apart from Jurong East Cathy, we have conquered all the other cathy lanes already. let's go there someday.

Suggestion:
Shall we bowl on Friday as well? Nothing intensive, just in preparation for the following day. I think it's just as important to get into the competitive mood, so people who don't usually perform in those situations don't feel like fish out of water.
We can play a 3 or 4-game series, no points for flair, no points for style, no points for intent. It's gonna be all about the score, nothing more, nothing less. Just like the real thing.
On a lighter note, we can enjoy a nice, leisurely swim at the swimming pool after that. Hydro-therapy to ease the muscles, get some Vitamin E, recharge for the big day... also, we'll all be able to get a glimpse of jason's tanned, firm, perky, curvaceous, full, example of anatomically correct pectoralis major and minor.

What's the big deal about this guy's pectorals? Wouldn't you guys be better off watching babes in bikinis? ;-)
Anyway.......are we going to train on wed at Chevrons as well? I might not be able to make it on mon. A more intense training on wed would then make the fri a more relaxed one for me.

i'm always game to bowl. But bowling 3 times a week is a great toll on my finances. Otherwise, i'm game. Still, I'm onboard for the friday programme.
