Well dudes,
6 points against the top ranked team. Was a very good effort. Good effort. I guarantee they weren't expecting that sort of resistance against the 9th placed team.
Total absence of hook players tonight, with Ding, Jay, WX and Mage taking the lanes. Great stuff.
Special thanks to Lydia, Lisa, Bingbing and Deamon for giving the team support today.
We're up against 8th placed No-Fear next week, mostly 170 - 180 avg bowlers. So who feels like playing?

Afterall, I'm still on the improving path...doesn't hurt to play a few more games on some of the toughest lanes for hook bowlers. -

Well, Thursday could only be described as a shocker. Time to move on, chums. Nice to see you, Chuan and Lynnette!
Not yet decided how to settle the lineups for the next few weeks yet, will let you fellas know ASAP. Much to think about. We're dropping out of the picture alarmingly.
Tom/Jae/Jason, when will your exams render you out of action? And for how long? -
exams starting from early May to mid June.
Actually we are out of the picture starting from this week already. 8 weeks to study is not a very hard request....its basically what we can only ask for....as studying is our priority at the moment.
By June, we should be free. -

Yo!Prata, on MC again due to recurrence of my wrist injury. Trying to recover in time for Classic III Challenge! So will most probably be out for sometime..... By the way, I got a special request, I've yet to play a league game along side with my coach Mage, either in Katong League or Classic League

Not that I haven't played you with Mage for any reason. You know, he has only played TWICE in our what, 15-16 sessions so far. So many people haven't played with him yet...
I'll try to arrange one session for you together (be careful, Mage ) ASAP. -

My gawd.
First time this happened. We have 12 members, but on Thursday we struggled to get even 3 to play. 9 players couldn't make it for various reasons, and some, were spectacular reasons!
We're lucky to have Jae and Ding, the 2 "ever-readies" in our squad.
In the end, I barely made it back to Katong on time, thanks to Ding, and bowled for the first time in long sleeve shirt and pants!
Hah. Dun play play. Even with just 3 bowlers we managed to get 8 out of 20 points, having virtually thrown away 4 individual points and 4 team points. In fact, we managed to win 1 team game with just 3 people! Cool wot?????
But I hope this does not happen again, though.
Next week we face power opponents Swee Seng, I'm pulling out the stops. Let's see if we can stun them somewhat. Sorry Phua, I can't offer you a slot in the team, but if any of us can't play, I'll inform you as early as I can, ok?
I'm utilising Jay Soong, Weixiang, Mage and myself to face the inhuman bunch of spinners. Wish us luck -
Can get James to chip in if there's a slot for him. No fear about shortage of players again
