Orchard Cine Leisure! 
Reasons:
1) Where i learned my bowling basics and hook!
2) Where its 100% SMOKE free! Not even a bit of faint smell! Hahaha
3) Advance system of calculating for you your scores, Avg, total pin falls, first ball avg, splits and splits conversion, games you played.
4) Good and clean pin settlers.
5) Music
6) Moderately oiled
7) Good packages 10pm to 1 am $2.40 per game, 9am to 2 pm $2.00 per game.

Like Victors Superbowl in Marina South for it's high ceiling and all round ambience.
Recently went to Jackies, think I like that place too
Now for the hated ones... used to hate classics bowl and silverbowl alot(and I mean a great deal
) due to the naturally occuring haze(cigarettes smoke) which may see an PSI reading of 300(very hazardous 
) at certain times of the day Can't stand smoke...
Now much better liao although there are occasional smells......

I love Cathay Eastside Bowl. The lanes are oiled to the fact that it is easy to bowl on.
For a greater challenge, Jackie's Bowl should be an alright place for training, or practising.
But to deliver the punch for hook bowlers, try Silverbowl. The lanes are oiled for spinners, and its hard to play the outside line without lowering ball speed. well, at least for me...
Otherwise, cathay Eastside still the best. Apart from that malay lady recept. -
Safra Tamp, used to like Marina Sq
1) The place where I have slightly better consistancy, but me uses the alley's bowling balls
2) Smoke free!
3) Advance system of calculating scores, average, total pin falls, first ball average, splits and splits conversion. Always like to check the SPECIAL tab to check your progress
4) Very nice pins sometimes before a major event they will use "gold-plated" pins.
5) The area is bright, and they like to play chinese music
6) Moderately oiled
7) Good packages 10am to 7 pm Ranges from $1.80 to $2.40 per game depending on the packages, 7pm to 12mn $2.80 to $3.60 per game.

The best I like is Cathay Cineleisure. There is where I also bowl at.... I know the manager and staff there. So very shiock to stay there. I also like the people in that pro-shop. So friendly. Haha

A bit ex la . But sometimes got promotion....
And I am willing to pay a bit more cos i got extra priviledges such as priority waiting list, in fact, once I reach there, sure got lane for me one.

Now can go Eastside bowl on weekdays if free as there's a promo there. A game can cost as little as 1.30 or 1.20... can't remember the exact amount.
But transport is an issue so you'll most likely have to drive there
