Any reccomendation to buying a bowling ball~?

ello.....i'm a newbie in bowling u see.....and i'm planning to buy a bowling ball lor.....so.....wanna ask anyone of u out there got reccomendation~? heez~ my budget is $200 lah~ going for package one lor.....so........any help~? i playing hook~ heez~ if possible pay attention to me and reply me if u can lor~ k~? thx anyone~ heez~

Hooker or spinner...???
Really, it all depends on you.
1) if you love carrying 2 - 3 balls around and love the agony of adjusting to complicating lane conditions....... hook!
2) prefer a simple and light 11 pounder to carry around, amazed by the "helicopter" kind of rev... spin!

just joking, i think in the long run, hook's the way to go. but mind you... it takes a lot of determination and effort to master it. -
Let's analyse this. Spinners have advantage early in games bcos of their usually similar lines they play, and need only minor adjustment when they change lanes or when the conditions change. the shot they throw is straightforward and simple, no need for much calculations for breakpoints and such, whereas the hook ball bowler has his headaches from here. Hookball bowlers are different. they come usually in 3 tyoes. Crankers, strokers and forwardroll types. true crankers are power bowlers that if done properly, can give XXX even if the pocket is not hit well. given the power of the shot they throw, but the lane conditions will kill them fast if it is really very dry and the proper balls are not in hand. strokers and the forwardroll types are simplistic shots that give basically skid and flip. the shot looks nice but lacks the power of a cranker or sometimes, even the spinner if the lanes are not read right.
All in all, wat u should play is really dependent on wat u can throw now. and how much committment u put into training.

I may have something for u....
Doink : The super 4 vtec's performance is not as good as u think....coz a 400cc engine is not powerful enuf for the vtec to have much effect....in fact, it retards the pick up bcoz a 1 stage vtec kicks in at only abt 6000 rpm on a super 4....and anywhere below that, the performance is very much ordinary to say the least. Think the previous model, version S may be a better choice....

Tempo... u r the best, havent got your license and already having such fantasies!! Super4 is 2A bike you know, maybe should start with smaller dreams like NSR or Aprilla?? hahah..
btw, i only have my 2B, will be going for 2A in Jan 2001. Wish me luck huh?
Cab sauv... i have not ridden a Super4 before, only been a pillion once.
i guess you're right about the Vtec, cos although my civic has DOHC 2stage Vtec, anything under 5400rpm (that's when it kicks in) is mediocre!
But once u stretch it to about 8000rpm and maintaining above 6000rpm when shifting gear, you are in *vTec Heaven* !!! -

Now "P" plate, aim for Super4...
In two years' time, buy a 1100cc !!
