need some recommendations from u all...a friend of mine...shaun tan...some may know him...is looking to get a bowling ball...
this is what he's told me...
RG avg: < 5
Hook Potential: 18 boards...
oil conditions: more medium than oily...
i'm typing out exactly wat he told me...so anything wrong...not too sure either...he's looking at attack zone and messenger T1...wat do u all think?

Jason is using a Messenger Ti, you can ask him for his opinion... by the way, from the look of things, it IS a good ball.

Trust me to get a word in on this topic!!
First up, most balls people use these days (that is, the high enders) have RG avgs below 5.
The attack zone you mentioned, being a entry level reactive, has a much higher rg though, 8.7. No 18 board hook there!! Unless you're on very dry lanes!
I've used both the Messenger Ti and the Messenger Ti Pearl. If you can get your hands on a Ti Pearl, do it. My opinion is that the original Mesgr Ti tends to be less "user friendly".
Urm... if you want a Vortex Afterburner... come find me, I've got one to let go! Heh

Between the 2 balls shuan has mentioned, i'd pick the messenger Ti for him. Like Prataman has said, the attack zone is really a dry lane ball, or spare ball for other times.
I agree that the Messenger Ti Pearl is an even better ball, but since shuan is only getting one ball, the Messenger Ti might be better suited for his needs and budget because he can just tweak the coverstock (sand/shine) to cope with the conditions. -

any recommendation?...i am going 2 drill a new ball upon the recommendation on many fellow bowlers...
any recommendation? i dunno wat i'm looking for exactly...but xavier recommended me to get a ball with labour drilling n maximum hook? besides that, a skid and snap ball was also mentioned but did mention that i might lose control of it...
hmm...i guess i'm looking for a more versatile bowling ball coz i wun be buying that many bowling balls as of now since will be taking short hiatus...
what other info is needed? (ian might know my game better than i do..=P)hehe
