is the apex good??

hi.. for those who read my post "any spinner balls to recommend", you'll know that i'm interested in getting a reactive ball..
but there isn't any offers for 2nd hand ones.. so i went around the shops asking..
from what i gather, many of them recommend the ebonite apex. but i couldn't find out much about it thru websites (partly becos i dun know which apex it is.. got so many..)
anyone here who knows anything about the black apex? what kind of lanes and conditions its suitable? -
our dear VtecAddict uses the black Apex on oily lanes, and i think it works great for him. For first hand reviews, u'll have to wait for him or other spinners to comment.

... OR go down to Kim Seng bowl this sunday (19/1/2003) to watch his ball in action with your own eyes. There'll be other spinners there too.

Oh YES!!! I'll have to say i cant complain about the ball coz' it really is quite good.... but one thing though... i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's lookin for a more versatile ball. The problem is that due to its surface and coverstock it really is quite condition specific, that is to say that it truly performs only on oily lanes. So it all very much depends on your requirements....
Heard that the new Zone Detonator is pretty good too... Was recommended the ball juz 2 days ago. Maybe u would like to check it out??
