Just ran into a small problem regarding the playoff format. We under time constraint, so we either may NOT have the playoffs after the 6 games, or will only be able to have a short one. Will keep you updated, confirm by Monday next week.

Sorry for the time change. Jackies made a error and already had bookings for the day (regular customers). They requested us to change our tourney timing, and I'll do my best to help them lah. Therefore we will move it from the original 3:30pm slot to about 6:30/7pm starting time.
Most of you would have gotten an SMS from me, and some of you have already confirmed that you are able to participate on the new timings. It is tentatively set at 6:30 pm - 7pm, I will inform you separately once the timing is confirmed.
For those who haven't confirmed whether you can make it, I hope to hear from you asap.
For the couple of you who definitely cannot make it at the new evening timing, I am really very sorry, did not expect such a thing to happen. -

Will be playing....my wrist is feeling better and will be fighting fit this sat!
Had been in low morale since laying off bowling due to wrist injury. Been missing in action for some time liao.
Hope I still can hit my expectation!

I will be taking part in the SIM/NUS pool tournament earlier in the day on 15th. I will be there ard 6.30pm, along with Victor as he is in my pool team as well. See you all there on 15th!

Hey btw, what tape was it tat Thomas was recommending?? I couldn't find 3M PLASTIC?? tape....mostly mounting tape lah, scotchtape, or the most common Vinyl Electric Tape...
lastly, i dun geddit...why so many ppl hate michelle saram.? her acting is so much better than most in MG2, if u look purely on acting skills. Her mandarin is the killer, so she's probably having a hard time memorizing scripts, but considering that, she's 10 times better than most of the ppl in MG2.. haiz.

There is absolutely no chance of finishing in time!
The match between Arsenal and Man Utd is going to be held at 12:15pm London time, or 8:15pm Singapore time. The tourney starts at 7pm.... so.... unless you play 2 bad games and decide to give up......
If it was going to be the usual 3pm London time kickoff (11pm Singapore), then we would have been able to finish before the match.

On a further note,
I'll be popping to Jackies later to finalise details with the manager there.
1) I'll be allocating the lane positions for you, so there will not be a need for a lane draw. The manager will help draw lots later to determine your places. When I come back later I'll post which lanes you're on.
2) We have a final number of 28 participants, over 12 lanes.
3) We have reduced the number of games to 5. We realise that people get damn shack after 5 games, and since it starts at 7pm, we thought it may be a better idea to reduce the number of games so as to finish a bit earlier.
4) Cost per head is now $27.
5) Top 5 qualifiers will continue on to the. There will be 3 matches. Shootout between 3rd, 4th, 5th. Winner advances to face 2nd, then winner advances to face 1st.
6) Although there are only 5 playoff participants, up to 8th place (that is, top will definitely "cash". <-- get money We may include up to 10 places, have to confirm. Please don't expect too much if you get 9th or 10th place though, heh! 
7) Many thanks to Deamon once more that we practically can make sure that no one goes back empty handed, thanks to his goodie bags.

5 games is still better than nothing. I'll like more, though. Perhaps next time IF we do this again, Jackie's should give us a free game since all this started with their screw-up.

I assure you that Jackies have done their bit to "make up" for their error.
We wanted to have 6 games, but Joo Hian and I felt that it may drag too long into the night, given that we still have stepladder matches. Hence we dropped a game.
I hope my post in the other thread regarding the tourney was legible. If you people need more details or any clarification just let me know. -

Food at jackie's IS good, fish head curry comes highly recommended. Eh, since it's their fault that the tourney got pushed back, i don't think it'll be asking too much if a TV was provided for to catch the match. Yah it's FA cup, but... Arsenal vs Man Utd! Hello!?!
