: $40 for eight games
For League players avg below 173.
NOT! for those Ah pehs and uncles who frequent there! He BARRED them from joining. Its soley by application and our league team members who avg below 173 can consider joining it... Anyone interested can approach Uncle Shariff. CHEERS! -

who else interested? more confederates will enhance the confidence of the participants...but will also result in conformity...therefore group influence is a very impt part of bowling...

spoke to shariff tonight...he said he's looking fwd to our support and to make the numbers..there will be some external bowlers, i.e. non league bowlers that he's asked to join the competition but he's ensured me that these bowlers qualify (under 173 ave..)
so it's the 7 of us competing in this tourney? -
Prata, wat i mean is that since on the date 12/01/03,so many of us are free, we organise our our FORUM tourney somewhere else eg jackie's coz some of us tink that the classic tournament is too ex, and somemore so many games 8 games! Shack man! I believe that since there are eight who are free, i guess more ppl will want to take part too! Sorry to Classic then...

By the way, the classic's tournament prize money is not too attractive too

Actually, Hayden, for a prize of $300 for the winner out of 40, $40 for 8 games is actually IMO not very expensive. The prize money is "sufficient" for a tourney with players under 173 avg.
With my previous calculations regarding the Jackies tourney, I will need over 40 participants to pay $30 for 6 games and then I will be able to give out $300 for justONE prize. Which means to say only 1 prize winner.
What Shariff/Classic is doing is much more than what we can hope to achieve in our tourney, since, of course, they are capable of slashing their own lane rates for themselves.
I'd prefer joining the Classic one as well as organising our own. Let's give Shariff some support, he has been very friendly and helpful to Forum United.

Even if you have an off-day, I'll still have to get past Prataman and who knows what sort of "below 173 average" bowlers are going to be playing there.
I'll like to be in the running, but the track record I have at classic is dismal, to say the least.

Oops! Forgot to ask timing! Shariff was around but he seems busy. He asked me how many ppl, so i told him practically our WHOLE Forum United are willing to suppport this tourney. BUT!!! He looked shocked and mentioned that David and Kevin Ng (MAGE) are not eligible as they average is above 173. How sia????
Maybe can talk to him abt it yah? -
