hmm..ok... *xie xie*Originally posted by Ian:its nothing about turning too much. no personal ball should give u blisters or any discomfort when using it. it must be a pitch or size problem. go see ur driller for a resize or to smoothen the thumbhole out.
wow.... all theory... chim siaOriginally posted by Ian:if the thumb and fingers all leave the ball at the same time, the revolutions generated will be less. basically, the revolutions should match your speed to give an optimum force to create a strike.
if the thumb comes out 1st, the fingers are still in therefore being able to create a 'lift' to generate revs.
its easier to show than to explain....
maybe harmzuay would like to try to put it into words?
err... but mi wearing guard leh.. can meh..??Originally posted by Player1:try this...
hold ball with hand, fingers and thumb in the holes.
palm face upwards, so the weight of the ball resting on ur palm.
use the other hand as a support, try to get the ball out from thumb while keeping fingers in inserts still. does this test help to see if the thumb can get stuck or what?
The second one is on knees, swing ball lightly. On the backswing(slight), release the ball with the thumb first and try to lift with fingers.
i dunno about these tests.....just saying cos i use it. haha
