Tour de Singapura

hmmmm...My virgin thread.... yeah...
Its been more than a year since we've done that.
It was quite fun back then exploring some of the lanes in our tiny isle.
Tonight's get together at Eastside was fun despite not being able to bowl many games with my own balls.
( bowling balls of course)
But it was definitely refreshing to bowl purely for fun. outa those pressurising league games and sometimes dry training sessions.
Dunno if you guys felt so.
Din bowl enuf tonight in fact. Only 3-4 games each.
The idea may not be feasible due to transport and availability problem but tues late noons may still be possible before the exams approaches.
so guys..pls voice your opinion.

haha, dun know about your previous tour de singapura, but I had thought about planning this for quite sometime. The group will roll a few games at one centre then move on to another centre for another few games, and so on. More ambious plans include tour de malaysia.
There are 2 major problems. The date and the logistics. Have to get a day where interested parties are free. Might be possible for those still schooling but is difficult for those who are working if on a week day. Logistics wise, transport and lanes avaliability. Will require vehicles to get the group around. In my group, transport is always a problem, but think should have no problem with this group since many drive. Will have to book lanes in advanced. Once these two things are settle, others are just minor details.
Just my 2 cents worth.

For a tour, definitely weekdays, definitely have to start in the morning. It really comes down to how much we have to pay for the games. Besides the 2 alleys at marina south offering $1.50, and eastside with $1.20 (20 games prepaid), where else can we go to get the best bang for buck?

hey... here's an idea.
start at pasir ris bowl, bowl 3 games series. then relax at the downtown east.
next, proceed to eastside cathay. then lunch at wimbledon kopio.
after, bowl at orchard cathay, have tea at coffee bean (optional)
next bowl at westside. then proceed to pasir panjang bowl.
Last Stop. Sakei Sushi Buffet! -

all in all, it adds up to ard $50 per head? sakae sushi is already worth like $16...including petrol for those with transport, ard $10, with ard $20~$25 remaining and after excluding drinks, lunch, snacks, left with ard $10 ~$15. That leaves us with.....not many bowling games...
and that's $50 per head calculations!
Looking this way, wont we need like $60 to $70?
just working out because money isn't a very flexible resource for me at the moment. duh...
note: best to begin in jan. Cos school reopens, we have more empty lanes on weekdays. -
we can always go to less spots. maybe one east one west and one central. about 3 games per spot will bring us to about $28 in games. parking (split costs) another $2? then lunch and dinner... about another $22? (mainly coz of sakei sushi) total $52.
never said bowling was cheap. can even make it to a little SBT challenge. best overall series wins!
so must find one dry lane, one oily lane and one mid lane condition alley. just a tot... -

we dun have to whack all the lanes at one go what.
just take out one lane per week lah.
ease the strain on our wallets as well.
not everyone can make it on one single day.
so in this way each bowler can have greater probability to join the tour at least once.
