wat say u two guys are having a conversation on the forum yeah...=P i enjoyed reading the msgs though...hey prataman, i can't reply to your question on wat's my drilling like coz i know nuts abt it...henry saw my bowling and i told him some info and he drilled it for me as such...all i know is that if bowler doesn't screw up, the ball works pretty well...=) only thing i know is that as ian mentioned, it's drilled to flare...(hmm now am i wrong on that too? blur lah)

Can we join another league? The grassroots' league at yio chu kang is allegedly starting soon. I just want to get away from ah peh leagues like tampines safra, so few bowlers from our age group. Hope the next one will allow us to compete with our peers.

When we win or draw with their teams, the feeling is great. When we lose we can take it in our stride because they started bowling when we were sucking milk bottles... some not even manufactured yet

Hey Ding, did you keep the carbon copy of the scores? I was thinking last night - although my opponent outplayed me, i might have beat him because of my handicap
(not very proud to say so). He has a hanidap of 5, so i should still have 13 pins per game. that's 52 pins total. I think it's pretty close. Especially because they didn't play well for the last game. -
Nope. I don't think anyone of us will have the carbon copy.
Remember? the last game's score is not yet recorded and the machine went to standby mode. Hence the other team went to the bowling counter and ask for update. The entire scoresheet should be given to the counterstaff then.
I don't think u will get one point as I remember your opponent got a 190+ game. His other three game should have at least gotten him another 450+ but I know it's close with your 13pins advantage per game. But then maybe...... let's check next week's table
BTW Prataman,
I managed a 150+ average over three game.
Our team score for the last three games are 400+,450,450+ as I remembered.
We were 3.5 points behind Team 19 and 10.5 points behind Team 18. The team behind us is a good 30+ points away. Which means the final result after 6 more weeks will be us in the 18,19 or 20th placing.
Only a 18th place warrants a $200 award. That's our best chance as team 17 is 50+ points away from Team 18.
The above are team standings before last nite's game.
Guys, we have a realistic chance of finishing 18th position for this long season so I say let's do it!!!! Afew more upsets should do the trick

Hmm... still a realistic chance of catching Team 18, but gotta get at least 1/2 the points each week from here on in. -
I got caught up in an accident along ECP hence only arrive at the alley half way thru. Missed the first one...
BTW according to my estimation, for us to over take Team 18, we won't need half the points. An average of 3.5-4 points over the last 6 games should do the trick.
I think we can do that...... to be continued next week. Stay tuned!
