I have called in the National Environmental Agency & the S'pore Police Force for assistance. Hope these National Agencies don't let me down else soon you'll find me writing to the Environment Minister

Bad news.
It sure was fun... for them at least. We got completely whitewashed 19-1. I managed a consolation point from the anchor spot, but the rest of the time they were just using us for target practice.
My goodness, near the end of each game we had to sit there, grit our teeth and watch them indulge in professional sandbagging.
Granted, the opponents bowled excellent games, and I doubt we would have gotten many more points even if we bowled reasonably well, but... averages of 132 (JPS), 139 (KP) and 146(JS)? Very unacceptable.
We started out in 5th place, but I think we'll be lucky not to be in double digit placing after this fiasco (out of 12 teams).
Next week we're facing a "not so strong" team. We have to gather what remnants of morale we have, and go for it once more.

But you see, we may be are a relatively new team, but the players last night are all seasoned campaigners, not rookies still wet behind the ears.
Really must have been a bad day to have almost everyone puttin' up numbers like these. That's the only thing bugging me and got me a little flustered.
As for next week, I'm sorry I can't confirm who's playing yet. Will get back to you asap. -
Prata, I feel that last night(on hindsight ) the team members are new to each other(James & Jay) hence low comfort level with one another. That maybe ok with a weaker team but last night's team is definitely no push over. They can easily win us 150pins a game...... nevertheless this will be recorded as part of our experience(us & us to keep ). In future, what can be worse right

Well, the opponents are pretty experienced as well. They should be those players that can maintain a high average, whereas most of us are inconsistent in the scores.
This means more training! -
Ya, those are seasoned bowlers who started the game even before you're born(a bit exaggerating I know but u get the point )
They have wealth of experience and there's little that they have not seen. In another word, more zai lor
What we have is youth and the zeal to improve and learn. Most importantly young folks like us must inculcate the never say die spirit in ourself & the team
Like me... I'll never say die until smoking is totally eliminated from Silverbowl & Classics
(yes, I am very very pissed with smoke on my cloth fabrics after a league session )

Prata, dun frust! Maybe its right, members are new to each other and thus comfort level is not there yet. Like for me, I tink I'm more confident when i'm bowling with Ding in particular, and Mage too. Dun know why, but they have the most positive effect on me during the game thus enabling me to settle into my game faster! Mage, being my coach, he know how to trouble shoot my mistakes for me as he knows my style and he's veri experienced. Ding is a good motivator to me! CHEERS!
