I certainly hope we will do our utmost and not slip up.
Playing against the weaker teams represent our best chance of accumulating vital points.
If there's a time we need to be consistent rather than spectacular (in good and bad ways), it's against "weaker" opposition such as next week. -

Update for league session 23th dec.
We gain 10 out of a possible 20 points, same as last session, no win, no lose, just maintaining. Just too bad we are unable to gain more points from the opponents, but I'm sure everyone is serious, and tried their best. That's the most important thing.
Updated handicap are as follows:

Chong Han 15.
We are up against "Classic Cafe" next week. I am sure you all know who's in that team. As for team lineup, watch this space.

Once again though,
It was more a case of a couple of points lost rather than 10 points gained. I personally feel we could have done better.
But.... after saying that.....
An encouraging thing about this session was the amazing start that we made. Immediately off the blocks the whole team struck in the first frame! Inspiring it was, and we went on to a good 708 game 1.
Keep up the good starts, and the team will do well!
P/S: Hanster, nice to play with you in league for the first time, and also great to play with Yvonne and Harmy after such a long time in league combat. -
Its not too good to lose points but it's the season of giving now. Just wish your opponents Merry Xmas at the end of the games lor

Merry Christmas sure must wish, hand sure must shake for a game well bowled, but points should NEVER be willingly be given away.
I for one won't care what season it is, when we're out there we must do our best to get our points. Otherwise we already lose 1 of the 2 objectives of playing league in the first place. -
Next week's (30th Dec) lineup:

Merry Christmas is a time for giving, but points is certainly not the best gift. Think a suitable gift should be turkeys, since, well its christmas.
This league comprises of only 12 teams, which means there is only 22 league sessions. We had already battle 8 sessions, am and sure everyone had a dip in the water to test how cold it is. We have only 14 sessions left, that is not alot. We haven't been doing really well or very badly either. Quoting from prataman, we have to "bao3 wo4" the remaining sessions. Let's prevent the stronger team from gaining points from us, at the same time hiding right under their noses, and steal their points when they are careless. We had already tasted first hand how cold the water is, it is time to catch some fish out of it.
