Player1, for your info though, I believe the El Nino 2000 certainly does not need a recon, it just has a couple of nicks on the surface, that's all. And it's also a proactive ball, albeit not as strong as the Shock Zone.
Player1 it's up to you, not here to force you to anything, just given you other options rather than just the one you had.

What you only need to do is to replug and redrill, plus the cost of any inserts you may need. Which you would have to pay for the Shock Zone anyway, just that the ball is $90 less. You mention the Zone's plugging is already covered in the cost, though, that's a plus point for you. Saves another $20-$25!

$65 difference for a El Nino 2K replugged once and a unplugged Shock Zone.
