Ian on thursday your were at east side bowl league...I tink i saw you but couldn't be sure... tats why nver go up to you ...you were wif your gal rite? Anyway, thursday, the lanes there dun like me sia....i switched THREE times lanes sia!
First lane is dirty and everytime my ball returned to me, it was all black sticky patches all over, the second lane, keep refusing to return my ball. ARRRgh! Damn sianz and the staff didn't help in my situation till i not mood to play sia!
Staff juz say I'm unlucky but i still tink they never maintain the lane properly...

Regarding the ball, Unc Sam is offering me a Brunswick Shock Zone Proactive ball. For $130...so far I have saved $60 (recalculated )
Hopefully I can get the ball ard 27th, then try it out on Eastside Bowl during afternoon, while giving him an idea on my style and how to drill.
Then 28th, after training, head down to Katong.....LEAGUE DEBUT!
I'll pay for the $15 each session though...that my allowance can subsidise...
Btw, I just drove over a cat that dashed out onto the road. At 90kmh, I think its dead. I saw its lifeless body fling out from my car in the rearview mirror....
I feel bad about it..... -

I actually have a 14 lb El Nino 2000 I can let you have for just $40. It's not in exactly great shape and it's been replugged once, but if you're interested, let me know and you can have a look at it. -

Take the ball off Prata. I know it's exciting to get new gear - we all want to ALL THE TIME. But it's better investment sense since you are still in the learning curve. -
If I were to take the El Nino 2000, wat are the jobs to be done?
I mean, replug again and recon? Cos the price Unc Sam quote me is inclusive of replugging, no recon cos the owner used it very little times.
Furthermore, I agreed to take that ball already so I don't want to make Unc Sam wait for nothing... -
maybe its just bcoz i am a brunswick fan, but a 2nd hand shock zone for 130 is fine. proactive too. if u get the nino, replug plus recon will come to about 60-70, u will save 20-30. but i still tink the little bit extra is worth is.. y? bcoz its a ZONE.

Player1, for your info though, I believe the El Nino 2000 certainly does not need a recon, it just has a couple of nicks on the surface, that's all. And it's also a proactive ball, albeit not as strong as the Shock Zone.
Player1 it's up to you, not here to force you to anything, just given you other options rather than just the one you had.
What you only need to do is to replug and redrill, plus the cost of any inserts you may need. Which you would have to pay for the Shock Zone anyway, just that the ball is $90 less. You mention the Zone's plugging is already covered in the cost, though, that's a plus point for you. Saves another $20-$25!
$65 difference for a El Nino 2K replugged once and a unplugged Shock Zone.
Tough choice indeed. Problem is you made a promise to him, so...

Alright then, we have a provisional team of 8 now.
WX, Ding, Jae, Hayden, Brendan, Kevin N, Kevin P and myself.
The leagues says they'll allow the addition of players for a couple of weeks, so I guess we still got a bit of time. I'd like to bump the squad to 9 or 10, although 8 actually can do lah, since Hayden and Ding offered to play each week. Heh heh heh. -

Kevin, point taken. Actually there's a easier way. Discovered yesterday that the foodcourt at keypoint building(which is beside Classic) had 2 TVs, one showing channel 8/U and the other channel5.
I may be able to rush down after my shot(I must train to ensure 1 shot 1 kill
) then catch the exciting show then up again for my turn(may need ur help to SMS me when near my turn
