I haven't bowled with you for ages!! Alas, I am not going down on monday because I cannot stand to watch and not bowl. Besides, Classic does not have a very spectator-friendly watch area.
Perhaps some time, we can bowl as teammates.

I've gotten used to the Chevron lanes. They are deceivingly dry when they are actually rather oily. But if you STOPPED lofting as much (my goodness... they probably changes to synthetics to prevent further damage from you at the other Cathay alleys), your ball will be able to bite.

hey thought i'd put up some of the info i received abt our monday league that some of u might not have read yet..so it's a FYI msg
1) the league comprises of 12 teams
2) all 12 teams shall bowl against each other. this will last for a period of 22 weeks for 2 rounds.
3) prizes will be awarded as follows: - 2 rounds - top 6 teams
4) in order to be eligible for the indvl prizez, a bowler shall bowl a minimum of 15 games. this 15 games requirement will also apply for participation in the master event.
5) handicap system (prata explained this b4)
=the handicap system will be 200 pinfalls as a base.
= handicap for male is Base subtract 160 pinfalls
= handicap for female is Base subtract 140 pinfalls
6) 20 points system with 50 cents for every point won
juz tot i'd add this to forum so for those still blur blur ..heeh wun be so blur after this....
will be a loanshark on monday to collect money for trophy fund and deposit...exact amt will tell u all on tmrw..gotta check with shariff abt sthg abt ttl number of bowlers...bring ard $30 on monday for those going to play/support....remember hor! -

to add to co-cap ms chee's, captain prataman said the deadline for the payment is the third session of the league. Tommorrow is the 2nd session, so hope to start collecting liao.

I am always ready to bowl for the team but let's leave all these arrangements for the captain to worry about.
We'll just need to go down and bowl our hearts out whenever we are called upon
Normally being a team captain have enough stress of it's own, the rest of the team must bowl to their best ability whenever called upon.

hey ding, it juz means for every point we win at each session we'll get money...to be split up at the end of the league lor...
i.e. last session we got 9 points, so as it is, we have $4.50 of earnings...
as for team lineup...dun worry folks...got it sorta planned till 4th session...juz not confirmed yet coz i had to check the strength of the teams we r playing with...but jae, u will be scheduled soon...no worries! hayden too...(paiseh..i'mnot good with nicks so will use real names)

Well All had fun too after the league....Ding, Mage, Prataman (big winner ),FREEMUN ,Jalvin , Weixiang, me, Mage's gf, Weixiang's gf he never intro sia! , and Weixiang's another gal friend.
So next week too after league yah? Fun bowling after league? Yupee!

Ding, unless I'm mistaken, yesterday the scoreboard didn't reflect the proper handicaps of the bowlers. Cos not everyone has 1 mah. And the total scores didn't count because no handicap was added to it.
Good news is, I did some calculations, we actually got more points!
Myself, Jordan and Mage managed 3 pts apiece out of 4. Unfortunately Quantum got whacked 0-4. So we have 9 of 16.
Team wise, thanks to handicap mostly, we actually won games 1 and 2 (lost game 3) and OVERALL SERIES by the score of 2151 to 2147. How close is that!!!! Of course, that's only if my calculations are correct
So actually we got 12 of 20! (or 13 of 21) I'm not sure if it's a 20 or 21 point system.
We didn't do well, except for Mage who was brilliant with a 191 avg. I had only a 164 avg. Quantum had 150 and I think Jordan had 145 avg. (actual averages, not upgraded) -
well, that's still better than mine!

Which means total team series count as 1 pt. How u come to 12 pts -
I got 12 this way.
Me, Jordan and Kevin Ng won 3 points a piece, and we won games 1 and 2, and overall series.
I think WX either didn't account for the fact that we didn't have handicap yet, or that he didn't know about the upgraded average to calculate handicap procedure. It really does make a difference.
I'll check it again. Otherwise I'm pretty sure it's 12 points?
