Yup, i did say that... its thick sauce in the front, buffered down the mid lanes and dry at the back with the outside, meaning 5-10 board and the 37-40 board is very lightly oiled... basically a very good lane if u wanna strike... then again i have see some of the old birds throw ancient balls like the PC3 without much or any hand and still shoot from 20 to 3 and then return to the pocket...
Besides, i've played with their so called youth bowlers, they are devastating at Strikers but they totally suck when they go out to bowl....

Actually, Mr Tifosi is right: tweeners are bowlers who are in-be[b]tween strokers and crankers, hence the name. A famous example is Chris Barnes (although he finds the term amusing). Mr Prataman is simply a low-track bowler.[/b] -

Thats already a very good price, the price includes the Re-condition done and the plugging of the finger holes..
Meaning, $100-$40(for recon and finger plug)= $60.
Meaning i am basically selling at only $60.

That price is alright. But you have to made certain that the ball is in good condition and factor in the plug/drilling costs, which would be another $50+ at least. And note how many times has the ball been used and drilled.
No price is low enough for a ball in bad condition. -

The Chao's coverstock is more prone to wearing out quicker than all the rest. If you want to stay away from TEC coverstock, then too bad. But all balls die sometime. By the way, TEC coverstocks wear out in about 100 - 150 games, NOT a few years. I suppose a regular cleaning regime will lengthen the span of duty, but don't expect miracles.
Just think formula 1 tires (since you're a tifosi) - they are high-performance grip tires, but they last only a few hundred kilometres, unlike those of a road cars. There's always a trade-off.
And expect to pay about $20 for a surface job on a ball. -

My apologies for the late, late reply. I was very busy a while back and thought that some other kind souls would provide you with the advice...
To care for a cover usually means that you should have a regular cleaning regime. When you clean the ball is subjective to the conditions you have faced. The norm is, the more "worn" your cover looks - especially after playing on really dry conditions - the more it needs to be cleaned.
Cleaners remove dirt from the microscopic pores in the cover so it regains as much 'grip' as possible. There are several types of cleaners on the market, and each ball company has their own range. But it doesn't matter which brand of cleaner you use - it's all down to preference and price.
Another way of maintaining your ball is to send your ball to a proshop for "re-conditioning" once-in-a-while. Basically, this process restores your ball to its original condition, unless otherwise stated.
