powergrip, steelfingers or Mechatecher?

Hi, guys any hook bowlers using the above aids? Can lets discuss abt the advantages and disadvantages?

from the time i started bowling i used just about every aid there was to increase rev. from the start.. lets see...
fisrt was the no finger mechatector, mongoose, then the cobra came in, then back to mecha again but wif finger. all i gave out liao... wif the various pple in SIM.
then i used the ebonite glove to increase grip and feel. also, used turbo 2 in 1 grips (pitched inserts)
finally now i have evolved to, no inserts. no guards, only using the glove.
i have realised that not using any of the above helps me more and gives me for freedom to play around wif my shot. of course, more margin of error also.
also, i rev too much. trying to cut down by not using the aids.. trying for a much straighter shot. -
got a weak wrist. gotta use a mechatector.

Ian, this will actually give u more strength on the wrist allowing u to have a better control.
Alot of bowlers who crank the ball like u do use it.
Its like a wrist band worn around the wrist.. quite cool and nice actually... -
Mage
The Progrip wrist device is the Force 10. It comes with either white, orange or red stitching.
I do not think it does anything to the wrist's endurance or strength, etcetera. The only reason I bought mine is because my idol wears it. And I only use it along with my Bandit elbow band before an event to keep my wrist and arm warm. -
all these watever Progrip ar, power 10 ar or watever 205 one ar... i dun really tink helpful lor. helps only the mental game in making u more comfortable.

Up till about 5 months ago, i was using a mongoose. Couldn't use it after the finger got injured. In fact, i suspect it was a contributing factor to the injury. But i was trying some weird releases during that time, so i had it coming.
Anyway, i liked the mongoose because it wasn't as complicated as a mech, yet it provided enough assistance to the wrist. Simple gear. It gave me some form of consistency coz i had a weak wrist.
But at the back of my mind, i always wondered what it would be like to be able to bowl regularly without a guard, to not be a slave to it.
So 5 months later, i'm bowling without a guard, with the lightest ball i have. I can only hope that one day, i'll be strong enough to play with 15lb stuff again. Not that it's a bad thing really...... the injury forced me to work on other areas, like footwork and timing, which needed a massive overhaul. Blessing? Maybe. But it sure wasn't fun drinking all that expensive shit from the sinseh *winces at tit@n* -
oh yes...the moongoose...never tried b4...how is it like? anyone want to share? : )
