Train till u are stable first before getting new balls, otherwise later u'll realise its a waste of money. And all your balls all slightly diff weight, how to be consistent?? 
From wat i see, you need a polyster ball as a spare ball included into ur arsenal, you dun need anything currently.
But if u really want to get a whole lot of balls.. hey! it's fine! open Pro-Shop ah?

All plastic balls are the same. It's just which look you prefer. There are some $200+ ones that look fancy or the $90+ ones that are plain. But plastic is plastic. Enough said.
The Dynasty is rated as medium to light oil conditions on the web. But from observation, I think it is more of a medium oil ball, unless you do not have a lot of hand and/or lack ballspeed. The Surge is a heavy oil ball in box condition.

Power Torq, you can bascially use the Surge for oily lanes and the Dynasty for light to medium lanes... so dun worry, juz find a plastic which is slightly lighter than your strike ball, cos u'll need to push it harder on dry lanes if u trying to hit pin 10..

You saw wat i was trying to do to clear my pin 10 rite? Guess its not the right way....hmmm... By the way Mage, can i drill a plastic ball in spinner style and throw a spinner to clear pin 10? Wat do you guys tink? I used to be a spinner.....

Try to get a 13lbs for your spare ball, 12lbs too light...
If u really wanna do spinner for your pin 10, my question is this, how zhun are u with ur spinner 1st?? 20 frames can u hit the pocket 17-19 times?? And that's in the centre of the lane with 2 pockets to hit, while the ten pin is only 1 pin with only 3 boards for error.. *consider carefully* -

Well, in regard to ur qn abt drilling a plastic ball for pin 10, (in my opinion, and in my case) i prefer to switch equipment to suit the lane, ie. maintain the same release. However, i believe that the confidence of getting the pin down is as important than changing the other variables, ie. equipment, release, style, etc. (My 2cts worth of thoughts) -

Jae has to use more aggressive equipment than normal because he has a very low track. What is listed as medium is his light oil ball, and heavy oil balls are his medium.
Power torq
I prefer a heavier spare ball because it prevents me from "muscling" the ball mid-swing. That's why I sold my 14lb Blue Dot to airgrinder. Sparing is a game of finesse, not power. So for me, a heavier ball is more consistent because I cannot as easily control the ball while swinging. -

Till today, Rhino ball still one of the best i had

In Uni frm yr 1-3: 15lbs Hammer synthatective( the one that won me the nus classic)
