Hope you ppl can chip in on any info on any SOLID RED Reactive bowling balls. Like wats the name, where to get, how good it is etc etc. I'm a red ball liker but still can't get my hands on one! Haizz....me looking for a 15-16 lbs solid red reactive ball.So far i know is Columbia300 Pulse and Track Enforcer remake... Got any more? Can tell me? Thanks! -

both from Columbia 300. i'm using the Primal Rage, and i recommend it.

Since Jae has suggested the Primal Rage, I shall give it a skip.
I assume you ONLY want solid red balls, not the peralised ones. Thing is, some matte balls have little swirls of other colours in them.
E.g. Storm Tour Power and Rotogrip Retro Red and Meteor Storm
Totally red balls I know of, but are discontinued:
1) Ebonite Red wolf *yeah baby*
2) Red Hammer
3) Red Sun Storm
I can't think of anymore.
As I said, they are all discontinued, so I doubt you can get them anywhere, unless used. Even then, the Sun Storm is so rare, you might as well give up. The Red wolf seems good, but I've never used one before. You might want to ask Prataman - the guru of Ebonite equipment. -

Not guru... even the Red Wolf is beyond my knowledge's reach. I only began researching balls in late 1998.
I have to put in a disclaimer, I'm an avid user of Ebonite equipment, but I'm also a fan of Storm equipment. The original Trauma pearl was awesome to say the least. -
ah ha! this is where i come in. the red wolf is one of the pioneers of the wolf series. hard hitting and hooky, was a gem in its day. even wif a long skid drilling, it still comes back alot. truely a must have for the wannabe hookers in the mid 90's.

U all forgot speed demon and some balls from brunsiwck are bright red too.
The recent entire red ball will be the predator -
zone balls are discontinued and very hard to find now. trust me. as for the Fuze range.. the Fuze AR is good. nice skid and snap. but abit hard to control.

Ian, saw your tread asking for blue dot and guess wat, I spotted one at CineLeisure pro shop. 2nd hand and the owner putting it up for sale but as the owner not around, the shop dun know how much to sell. it abt 13 or heavy 13 i guess. But i saw it has been replugged two or three time oredi

The red wolf was actually one of the later releases in the line, to my knowledge. It was just the first of the new generation of Wolfs to be debuted by Ebonite (along with Sea Wolf, TimberWolf and the WereWolf). This was the last of the Wolf balls, because the only ones that came after them were their respective "counterparts" such as the Red Wolf Pearl of the TimberWolf Pearl.
The pioneers of the Wolf line should be pre-1995 when the Blue Wolf and the Grey Wolf were introduced. I'm sure there were more before them, but I don't know.
Daemon
The Brunswick Speed Zone is actually Blue, with yellow engravings. I think the red one is Speed Demon? That's a good call.
I think Power Torq is looking for solid red balls, that's why balls like the Predator may not suit his bill. They are matte, but have "pearlised" swirl patterns. Unless he can get one which is almost totally red from the phasing process. Such balls are very, very rare and can fetch a high price if sold to the correct buyer.

a bit out of pt, but hope the starter dun mind. There is a green ball with a chinese poem on it, on display at marina sq proshop. Wonder wat ball it is. btw, the shop is closed for a few weeks. heh

There are a lot of weird balls in the market, I've found out recently.
One of the spinners I train with on wednesdays uses a ball from Taiwan (where else?). It's green, and has a Mandarin character of "wind" engraved in it - Feng. It looks like some special weapon commonly found in pugilist movies, where the swords are engraved similarly. Looks rather cool. No other brand markings. -
And such Taiwan bowling balls are comparatively cheap... a hundred odd per ball it seems

Well, regarding that Feng ball, i've seen it before. only used by spinners or ah guais(not referring to spinners)
Another ball from taiwan that i've seen would be the Scythe ball. has a picture of the knife that the mythical figure "Death" holds. And it says on the ball, u know where for normal balls, it says Made in USA, and the serial number?? On this ball, it says Designed in Taiwan, Made in USA.
How about that?!! Wierd, understood that taiwan bowlers order in large quantities and requested to have that printed on the balls...
