have you try out the methods yet Which one is the most effective
HI all bowling gurus, I have another question...again . How do u bowl on lanes that are very well oiled I noticed my ball doesn't hook so much, and I have to play outside line aka 1.5 arrows. -

You're making the correct adjustment. When the lanes are playing tight, move outward to your strong side. Lefties move left, righties move right. This will create more entry angle for the shot.
You could also try playing more aggressive equipment. If you do not have the proper ball, then you can slow your ballspeed to give the ball more time to bite. -
1.5arrow, that's abt 8-10 boards. So its not really outside line. (err..dun be offended, that's my views only, cos outside line in y views is throwing between 3 to 5 boards awayf m the gutter)
How much do u want to hook? I mean u want a hockey stick kind of hook? or an arcing kind of hook? or the straighter diagonal but hook minumium kind?
Usually throwing 1.5 arrow to 2nd arrow will cause yr ball to hook between, say 5-6 boards on a well-oiled lane with good backend.Thus when u mention well-oiled lane,do u mean lanes that oiled heavy wit no clean backend or lanes that are stripped and oiled nicely. Otherwise its difficult to answer that question -
deamon, about the kinds of hook u describe, which one is the best in terms of angle , power, etc ? What makes people bowl this diff kinds?

There isn't really an ideal one. It all depends on the lane. Play according to the lane condition and play what the dicates. It is no use playing against the lane condition. Therefore the basic of bowling is to be adaptable and adapt quickly

rhino, eh...what lane conditions suit what type of hook?? For me i didnt really understand, I just try to make the ball go to the pocket. So which hook style suit which lane cond? And, how u do a hockey stick hook or arcing hook or straighter diagonal but hook minimum kind?
