Hi pple,
I'm back again. Sori, no titianium for sale yet.
Got 3 questions:
1. Is there a forum for NUS bowling club? Something that is active like here?
2. Anybody thought about bowling overseas? Maybe a three day 2 nite trip to KL/Genting?
3. Any league starting? Wish to join some. Enquired at Cathay Jurong East, the guy say dun have liao. Think at this time of the year, most leagues have started.

I doubt the NUS team has even a webpage, unless someone else knows otherwise.
The Genting bowl looks bone-dry the last time i went. Haven't had really good experiences bowling in Malaysia.
Anyway, if you go all the way to Genting, the theme park's way more enticing than the alley. The pro shop is VERY disappointing (except for shoes).
I'm sure there are still some leagues that have yet to kick-off. Or you could take someone else's place in an existing league. That's how i got into mine

hey hey, the NUS bowling sub-club has a webpage but it's hardly used by bowlers...information there not too updated but it does have the placings for IVP so i guess it's still ok..=P...so jordan, if u r keen, this is the site... http://www.geocities.com/nus_bowling/index.htm
i've been to the NTU website...slightly more updated but forum there is quite 'dead' compared to this forum...=)

Hi there, the ntu bowling is going to be updated soon. This is becos they are in the admist of forming the new committee.We have a person to take care of that, so in future u get to se the updated web site regularly, of course with flash and other applications inside
As for the forum, well it wasn't that active, i must admit. Perhaps not many ppl know abt that. The bowling scene in ntu is still largely unknown. and guess what, we are still a sub-club of sports club. But then its getting better each better, cos more bowlers are coming into ntu.
So a new acedamic year is coming. Any one knows which good bowler is going to which institution? -
Think the bowling environment in NTU is not well advertised. I came to know about it only when I was like 9 months there.

Did you bowl regularly before university? If you did, wouldn't it be natural to find out about the club when you entered? I know that's what i did the moment i went to school. Heck, even before! -
if i am not wrong the captain of the NTU team is alfred. and the lady is erm... i dun know how to spell her name? something like eriyanna? she's taiwanese i tink... not well known but hell of good bowlers there.

I took up bowling only when I am 6 months into school. So till now, I have been only bowling for a year and a half.

Well, you're doing rather well for someone who's been playing only a year. Keep it up!

You can consider joining our team for Changi Beach Club bowling league. It's a 21 weeks commitment so I don't think it will affect your studies. You will only need to play for 4 months.
You can let me or Prataman know.
