Bowling Club Polo Shirt 2002

It's the time of the year to add another shirt to your wardrobe.
For the 2002 Spring collection, the club's polo shirt will be featured in basic black, with red making an appearance on the sleeve linings and collar.
The left breast will have the traditional SIM logo, as well as "SIM Bowling Team" and "SIM/UOL" magnificently embroidered in the same mentioned red.
Due to overwhelming consumer demand, this season's top will include the customer's name, situated on the back of the shirt, just below the left shoulder; sure to raise a few eyebrows due to it's unconventionality.
Lastly, a special edition "Raze" lettering will make a debut on the right sleeve, to distinguish genuine customers from the vicious hordes of wannabe "chiong" products.
To celebrate the company's 117th Anniversary, we are offering the first 100 customers a special special price of $16; yes that's right, for the entire shirt.
Interested parties please inform any of our friendly staff at any branch islandwide, and include your name (to appear on shirt) as well as size.(S/M/L)
To give a rough idea of the sizes available, we have here a patented system to ensure you receive a well-fitting top:
S: lilian-ish, saffry-ish
M: jason-ish, ian-ish, victor-ish, clarence-ish, chuanish
L: (still under testing) maybe dinghua-ish

I'm certain the Jason-ish shirt has modified frontal regions to accomodate his endowed pectoral area. No padding required.

saw the polo tee and contrary to wat harmzuay says, i think black is nice colour (yes i'm dull ian =P)
NUS shld be wearing either green or white on that day. those r the colours of polo tshirt we r supposedly getting this yr...if it's the white one we r wearing, the lanes wld be rather dull for ian tan man...hhaah juz black n white...=P

It's no harm wearing black or white. Just that teh sport isn't really well publicised with all the laymen out there thinking that bowlings a 'beng', or gangster sport; all bowlers guzzle beer in-between frames; or gamble (true for the older generation), et cetera... I think it's best for the sport that bowlers like us, fresh-faced and energetic, go out and right the image of bowling. It's as legitimate a sport as golf or billiards is. It's about time people started seeing bowlers as true athletes, and not people out to kill time and money chucking a ball at 10 pins.
Just think golf: 3 years ago, it was an old man's game. Since Tiger Woods burst on the scene, parents now send their kids to golf lessons, no longer piano or ballet classes. The newspapers report teen-golfing sensations like they're going out of fashion... Mr. Woods showed the world that golf is power, elagance and poetry in motion. Now, if one spoke of liking golf, it is perceived as 'hip'.
I think bowling needs a 'Tiger Woods'. And we might not be as good individually, but as a collective, we can help revamp the poor reputation of our beloved game. And don't have to be winning tourneys or representing the nation to do so (because not all of us here are that good). The idea is to show that bowling can be skill and form combined too; that we're not rich people with too much money to burn, but people passionate for the game. And every little bit helps.
I know i've drifted a tad. But that's the idea. Perhaps something as simple as brighter, more varied colours at the alley would show the vibrant side of bowling. Afterall, most of us already debunk the myth about bowlers being all unfit and fat.

Your shirt had cease to exist. It was used to clean my ball...... you disappoint me man!
But still with a blind score of 120 per game, we did ok. We finished 9 out of 12 teams that day.
You can easily contributed another 120pins over three games
