Wednesday league at ST

long time no see hope you guys are fine...
anyways got a few questions to ask regarding the wednesday league......wats do your guys think of it?in terms of team and etc....
oh yah before i forget whos playing tomorrow?(15/8/01)
i need to pass saffry's ball to one of you guys who wanna collect on her behalf hah?

Before i forget,
seems like a lot of the hook bowlers are having problems with the lanes at ST.
Think i told chuan and Ian before.Down over at ST the lanes are kinda "blocked" so you will need to send the ball out a little bit more like a "C" shape hook rather than a "L" shape hook in order for the ball to get into the pocket. -
John, I have yet to find a good line for ST lanes. My Game A is throwing the shot straight down 8th board, with a little hook to get it to the pocket, but this line is extremely disastrous on ST lanes where the backend is SO SO SO clean, the ball simply overhooks.
I think it was good advice that you gave to me the other night, to arc the shot instead of going down and in, still working on it though.
In the meantime, I'm leaving the reactive ball in the bag and going back to using urethane... -
Oh yeah, I think the 10 point system is not very good for weaker teams, everything's based on game totals, unlike Victor's league where they use a 20 point system. That way, the team still gets a point if an individual bowler beats his opponent in a SINGLE game.
And unlike Tanah Merah League, we don't have attractive lucky draws... -

prataman, spoke to jae earlier, I think the team scored 2 points.
Don't mean to burst your bubble, but suggest you promote the rock pearl more widely, very few of us bowl with 15lb+ balls. -

i asked my friend whether he wanted a ball.
"one 15lbs 2oz and one 15lbs 4oz.", i said.
unfortunately, it was too light for him; he's asking the rest of the NUS team, though. =)

It was only a casual bowling session. Yep.. damn happy about it though... woohoo!!
5 in a row, 6 pins (washout) then spare, another 5 in a row before getting thumb stuck and hitting 7 on my last ball.
And GUESS WHAT? Next game I bowled a 133. Bladdy hell. That's ultimate consistency (or should I say lack of) for you, baby. Lucky still can average 203 over 2 games, hahaha.

house award or not, it's still a tremendous score! Does it feel weird when in the PBA forum they are talking about 300s and we're here, not even close?
My PB's a 255.
