Friendly with CDL on the 27th March

Razers, we're tentatively having a friendly with the good people of CDL on the 27th of March at 7.30pm, after the prelims.
They have really good bowlers there, we'll all probably learn something from them... to improve you have to play with the best right?
If there are no objections, arrangements will be made with them within the next 2 days alright?

erm .. why not make it a bigger event by asking nus n tp93 team to join the event too ???

Think since this is our first interaction with the CDL bowlers, we should keep it simpler with just the SIM guys and girls alone.

Went to their website to take a look.... they are good! Read about them going around thrashing people
U guys should work in CDL next time, maybe can get time-off for good bowling performances or highly subsidised bowling :p

Hey people, CDL is considering having a 3-way friendly between them, TP93 and us. However, each side can probably send max 5 teams only, i.e. max 15 bowlers.
Doubt everyone will be satisfied, since all will have so much excess energy after the prelims, so the Ex-Co would appreciate it if any interested bowlers would make him/herself known in the forum, or contact your friendly secretary. Thanks! -

nvr got any reply from them yet leh...seems like the only thing is dat they only interested in if jack kor kor is our coach or not leh....hehe...btw if its really a 3way thing then maybe we can really work out something.....so isit alrite if our TP93niners/SIm challenge include them as well?afterall i stil lgot about 2weeks of time to prepare...let mi know soonest okie?

Hmmm...not sure if 15 ppl is too few a number, don't want to agree to it yet, at least until the final number of bowlers are in... don't want to risk disappointing those who want to play but won't get to coz of this restriction. But seriously, me thinks that everyone wants a shot at it right?
Anyway, we're trying to push for more than 5 teams from CDL, that way everyone will be happy
17th and 27th playing with the same 2 teams, sounds like a league... -
Oh, one more thing... according to the response we got from the SIM-NUS tourney, we fielded 33 bowlers from our side, including 4 bowlers from RMIT. So if the 15 max stands, a substantial number won't get to play...

I'm all for having a 3-way friendly, but realistically speaking, the question is, are we able to pull it off without compromising?

The CDL match-up is confirmed, we're playing with TP39 too, each side will send 4 teams i.e. 12 bowlers (pref. with 1 lady to 1 team)
Those who won't get to play on the 27th, not to worry, there's still the 17th to look forward to.
Now all we have to do is to get 8 guys and 4 ladies...

jokes aside ,can let mi know by this fri how many confirmed bowlers comeing down?cos i need to extend the number of lane bookings.

and furthermore no matter how good their track record is,we will never know if its really true...i mean its like their whole bowling club is full of so many good bowlers meh?worth gifing them the benefit of doubt....you guys wif your proper training and such i am sure you will give them a run for their money lah...kekeke.....

Guys... let's approach this competition in a different view shall we? Let's not think too much of whether who wins or plays more competitively, ultimately the friendly has been organised with an objective of widening our exposure and experience.
Instead of concentrating too much on the "not too positive" aspects of the event, let's steer our attention to a grand opportunity of being able to gain such an experience...
