NATIONAL VERTICAL MARATHON 2001
Defy gravity! Challenge the force of nature! Join the National Vertical Marathon 2001, co-organised by NTU Sports Club and Singapore Sports Council, will be held on 11 Feb 01, 7:00am at OUB Centre.
Categories for Participation
Men's Open
Women's Open
Mixed Open (3 Males, 2 Females)
Inter-Junior Colleges (3 Males, 2 Females)
Inter-Statutory Boards (3 Males, 2 Females)
Valentine's Day Challenge (1 Male, 1 Female)
Registration Fees
Student $5
Public $10
Closing date is on 01 Feb 2001.
Forms can be obtained from selected Community Centres, SSC Regional Sports & Fitness Centres and all Fish & Company outlets.

As promised , surly surly one, I m aiming to whack hard on this one, even if it means going to the my favourite accupuncture sinseh the next day, best best, she gives good massage hehehe, Max interested not, but thats after the needles and no special service huuuuu. But first we have to prepare, how how how? climb stairs lah . wah biang ehh,, but where where where, SIM building lah, haha joking, As discussed , we whack all the 800 series in Yishun 1st , huhuhu I also say ah,..ready not @pplring , one step or two step or three step its okay but neber never neber half a step more or less, thats bad bad bad, sad sad sad, then is no more sinseh its an orthopaedic giving ypou massage , surly surly onezzzz.....dadadadadaddududududu,,,...ready jun junring...mustah

Ummm, surly surly one ,if want to join the vertical marathon, we must be serious about it and train for it, jun junring. Here are the updates of the training regiment, this is how I will be training.....start with a 12 storey flat, go up, 2 steps at one time ,take the lift down and repeat it for 6 sets, later do some cardio. Next week,will surly whacked the 35 storeey building at Bishan...best ,4 continuos sets of that or 35 continuous sets of SIM buiding huuuuu,,,...2 days before the actual date will do one round of the real thing at OUB building, racing with the security guard over there//I must say ah....If I find I zai zairing will enrol for the individual category too, surly durly one, jun junring, will jio the SRC goodfellas like Erica and Jamies, best best,,,I think they will be interested, best to race ah,...I think we will win ah,..must jun jun saay ah,//coz I think our groupie very zai ah, Maxy. ,@ppling., Safary./,Franchise and super Elmo, with our bag keeper cum physiotherapist cum motivator ,Starry,// definite;ly zai one......I also say ah....

U guys better do some sort of training b4 that day as from last year's experience, the climb will be long and arduous. Very challenging and its tests ur endurance and determination severely. Good luck and high spirits guys!! All the best.

This is what the latest update now, surly one, The Vertical marathon is still very much on this sunday. Whether upon confirmation or not would depends on how fast I hear a reply from Mingyao, the chief organizer of the whole event, WHich is very likely that I would be handing over the application forms to him min tian,
Take note, there will be a mock climb this thurs afternoon at 3pm, surly one, the time is still tentative, this session is jointly being organized by Elmo sports and recreational drive .For those who are interested can contact the chairperson at his mobile, surly one.. Beer after the climb at boatquay is optional and would welcome anyone that is interested, best best,, I also say ah...,
YOu dun ve to make it all the way to the top during the mock sessions but it would be helpful to the participants to get a first hand experience on what you would be dealing with on the actual day of the competition,I musta and also say ah, jun jun ring let mua know asap ya..
