The name's David here. Thanks for accepting my request to join your teams. Hopefully I won't the team down lor, since I not a consistent bowler, heheh.
My average is about 170, so I'll be looking to learn from the better bowlers in the team, as well as to help guide the rookies, if there are any. Most of all, let's have fun. -

I was asking Freemun today about the team name, and he said 'Sesame Street Strikes Back'... err..... or 'Power Puff Girls'.... I boh wei kong lah.... speechless..... what do you people think??
Oh, one more thing, I'm rather kaypoh and I'd like to know everyone's 'style' and 'perceived average'... I'd start the ball rolling (no pun intended).

My style, still experimenting leh, my current shadow's going to be downgraded to spare ball vocation after I get a REAL strike ball... but I'm heavy on rolling, not so much on side-spinning, unlike some of our shen bowlers in SIM
My ball speed is s-l-o-w, or else it won't hook. Low revs too.
Average 130 (will be taking advantage of the league handicap...)

Thank goodness the league starts only in 2 weeks time. I'm sort of in a major slump right now...... Can't hit anything consistently... trying a new release. =P
Thanks for letting me know your styles and perceived standard. But I'm sure you people are just being modest lah...

Hmmm!!! What is a frisby release?!
No dah, just that I'm forcing everything too much. Best is to maintain a very light grip on the ball and just get a 'feel' of the release to get a good follow through. My release is a very simple one. Nothing fancy, just thumb out, turn, lift and follow through.
Things such as power and stylo-milo will follow later. Better to get the fundamentals right early, lest it becomes a bad habit.
Haven't heard about the league yet for a while now. Is everything settled? Do we start on the ... ahh.. 6th June? -

Certain things to take note,..Competition over there is stiff and of high standard,,we don't care,,jus earned a couple of Beer frames in a days work//best,
Next , the handicap is 200 minus,differ from the Victors format of 180, means if urs is 0,u r basically from Mt Faber,,,best ah..
The most crucial thing and the final one which is a must and better be a must is the payment of league fundss.....its a bit eX, but in the long run of significant moments of
bowlring we are gonna experienced there,.its worth it...Chop Chop..PPLE ITS $50 per juner..surlyone...15 is refundable(walkover deposit) and 35 for the trophy fund divided over 8 juners..Do ur own calculations...best best...
Method of collection would be made now to u guys and in the meantime .,get the cash ready,,I'll state the time and place to do the transaction and no one else is to be involved with this as this is crucial to our investment in bowling and i forsee that a high element of trust is involved here eh..

from what i heard seems like a lot of new teams coming up for the "battle of hua mountain" dun think its gona be plain sailing for us this time liaos anyways we met brandon at 85 bedok on sat...he talked to us about your team,
will be lloking forward to play wif your guys again.....really come to think of it nvr expected both sides to come so far.....imagine now we are playing in the same league as well hehe...

freesbee release is actually a half spin half hook type of release.....
instead of lifting up your ball,u "flick" the ball out so the ball will skid,spin and then flip into a roll once its reaches the backend......i think i "taught" brandon how to do it the other time....duno if he is a master at it now or not...kekeke.....so basically u will see the thumb plug at the top of the ball immedaite after release and slowly flip towards u at the backend.......

OH the freesnie release ah, jun junring , think u did mentioned to me b4 Johhnyboy but can;t really recall, I tot I mastered but in bowling, the element of consistency is crucial and jus bout when u need to deliver ,whichever style best suit u at that moment of time u jus use it and try to improvise it and make do with it to hit the strikes...
Best ah, nevertheless, the satisfaction one get when hitin the strikos like when I didi it at Victors is comparable to doing a 360 tailspin at the vert ramp and landing swishbuckling on the back of your rollerblades..its amazing dude...the feeling is there man , insumountable to any man...
