Dear all,
i hope that there's no hard feelings in this forum, as most of us does share and made our feelings known openly. this is really good, as sharing leads to deeper form of communication. however, i oso do hope that since most of us do not know each other so personally (eg. like prata and me, we can criticise the S.H.I.T out of each other, but we know that it's all plain fun) it'll be good to anticipate the feelings of other users, and esp so, pls do not do personal attacks.
we welcome all users to participate openly in the discussion of this forum, sharing, organising outings, etc, so that we can share the passion for the game, k?

i thought starter on this thread was talking about techniques.... why end up OT into luck n money.... i was a student too... during sec n poly days.... only $300 a month....i still bowl...avg abt 190.... hmm.... wats the big deal abt others got more money to spend on bowling.....
i dun agree abt being ah pek will bowl bettter..... Age is catching up on my lately.... bones are getting stiff.....i lost the smooth-ness in bowl i once had.... which means bowl like a robot now...haahaa.... theres no fun in bowling if its just the score or result ur looking at.... ENJOY the PROCESS....
Gonna take another long break from bowling again...haahaa.... come back to SG most likely bowling like a true ah pek liao...
BIG REVS n BIG HOOK is not equal to power or pin action.... i've seen many.... revs more than F1 tyres.... skid from 39th board to 1st board n hook back to pin7.....but their ball just dun create the pin action.... some pple at my league told me my strikes are very tyco type.... but i see it in a diff way.... luck doesnt makes my pins fly all over....

A "tyco/lucky/charkwayteow" strike is preferable to a "perfect" 1-3 pocket that results in a stone 9 or ring 10.
