MSVCRT.DLL problem!

  ARGH! This is driving me NUTS! I have recently just upgraded to Windows 2000 Professional. After installing Frontpage 2000, I tried to start it up only to get this error message:
  
  "The procdure entry point ??_U@YAPAXI@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCRT.DLL".
  
  I roamed through the net, through forums and tech sites (including microsoft.com) to no avail. It sounds like my MSVCRT.DLL file is missing something it needs for Frontpage 2000 to start. I know that Frontpage 2000 was working when I was on Windows 98. What the heck could be the problem. Any help would be great! Thanks.

  you have two choice to solve this problem.
  
  one is to copy the MSVCRT.DLL from C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DLLCACHE to the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.
  
  Two is to install the Office 2000 again. Please remember to uninstall the previous office 2000 and install a fresh new copy.

  I just read your reply and as I have just posted a similar problem to the one you appear to have solved, I was wondering if you might be able to offer any advice on my MSVCRT problem (posted MSVCRT Dated june 4th)

  Today I´ve the same problem when I open Frontpage after install other programs but I saw the solution in moco..ops! microsoft and probably the cause is other program overwrite Msvcirt.dll, Msvcrt.dll or both .dll. See this link http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q296551
