It is just something irritating, but I would love to be able to solve it. Whenever I click on New Mail in Outlook Express, the window that comes out is a small one that fills up half the screen. I have to always maximise it manually. This was not a problem before I downloaded IE5.1 (IE5.0 did not have this problem). Any solutions? Thanks?
Existing Messages
Open a message that you have received.
Resize this form so that it fills up the screen. Do not use the Maximize button to maximize the window.
To resize the form, move the mouse pointer over the corner of the window until a double-pointed diagonal arrow appears.
Click and hold down the mouse button, and then drag the pointer to enlarge the window.
Close this form window.
After this, each time you open up a message, the read form is displayed in the same location and size, and will appear maximized.
New Messages

Hopes This Helps,

Try holding down the SHIFT key when closing the window. The SHIFT key forces Windows to remember and store the window size and position.
The Shift key trick doesn't seem to work. I was wondering if I did it wrongly. Am I supposed to open the window to its maximum size, and then press the Shift key while clicking on the Close window icon?
