Actually day shift.....
is better than night shift.
Limousine drivers need to drive day, as many of these hourly jobs come from normal working hours.
Yes, U may have to face the Massive Traffic in early Peak hours as everyone is rushing to work and ALL EXPRESSWAYs can be a NIGHTMARE.
But, there are also many passengers to pick (MDT, walky talkie).
Currently,
the night shifts drivers have shorter time for business, as many people will DISAPPEARED from the street earlier than previously. Plus there are almost 27,000 vehicles closing in on the same pie.
Hence, for night shifts and after midnight hours, many will have the difficulty of picking up fares, except for the WEEKENDS (Friday & Saturday).
I have been THERE PERSONALLY (Hence I know the market statistics), driving night shift for almost 8 years. On my final year, I was on Day-shift OMO, which means I normally closed before 8pm.

Previously,
The Mercedes MDT do not have any advantage over the normal cabs.
Sometimes, the normal cabs MDT can be MORE POWERFUL than the Mercedes. haha. (especially if the drivers ADD SPECIAL ingredients to ther MDT).

Night shift is slightly different scenerio.
The office workers (from CBD) normally take a few hours from 6pm to go home. (Not so busy as compared to the day, where everyone needs to be in office by 9am). And becos of the additional CBD surcharges, many will go for the MRT regardless how crowded the trains are.
And for cabbies to go into CBD empty, they got to pay for the ERP Tolls. Hence, only those willing to absorb the TOLLs and hopefully to fetch somebody from CBD to equal up their fares.

U, may have that opportunity to do it also, once you have many clients whom needs you on HOURLY BASIS.

As you know, I'm not a half shift drivers........most of my posts generally base on OMO which I will encounter subsequently.......
I did mention 2 drivers scheme might not be so bad, but I never had any experience on that.........maybe you could share with us more at this portion........
Overall, CDG refuse to adjust the meter fare really make many piss off......especially so with Vellfire getting more on the road.......
However let's just share what we could, don't take it too personally, bro JDIL always cannot tahan my nonsense........

When I took their Mercedes cab.... even relief driver is given 2 sets of clothing.... with tie.
now it is still under my bed. (storage).

Last time I buy from CDG.......only shirt, long or short sleeve.......
3 for $10..........quality wise........only can last few months..........
Somehow, after washing and washing, it will turn to dark colour.........
After that, use it to wipe and clean car..........
Very economic..........

If they increased to $0.33, the rest of the 600-700 CDG limo cabs or die cock standing....
I will have to call my C&C agent to find out how many units SMRT ordered or have they ordered for the New CDi before posing an update.
If SMRT's CDIs are having a different meter ($0.33), then there is a good chance that CDG may follows.

The additional different of the rental can be COMPROMISED with these jobs and diesel saved as the engines are new and better technology.
